Hello, Favorable, or otherwise... All Constructive Criticism is gratefully rewarded: http://NicheSitesDynamics.info/ Many Thanks, in advance! Mark
I really don't like to be negative, but your site leaves a lot, if not all, to be desired. There's no logo, no visually distinct setup, and theres a random 2 pixel line going down the right side. It looks like a job that was thrown together within minutes. You're not following any of the established sales principles of site designs. - No distinction - No visuals - The text is difficult to read ...and many other features that would contribute to a successful site. My suggestion would be a complete overhaul and some foregoing homework as to what the sales pitch, presentation and demonstration of value should be. Best of luck!
I am afraid I have to be honest, the font size are way too big. Looks like just another pay $1 receive $1 billion type of newsletter. You may want to do this. 1. The header looks ok and draws attention about your product. 2. The benefits may look better in a table format 3. You may want to divide into two tables each with the product picture and information 4. The font size are far too big, smaller fonts does not mean it cannot attract customers, just make sure the important parts are highlighted, only the most important parts as too many highlights will divert the potential customers' attention Sorry for being blunt.
Hello shieldme & wisdomtool, Thank you, both, and duly noted. Both of you have been green rep'd accordingly. Blunt is fine, when it seeks to add value. Mark
I like the colours, it is easy on the eyes. Only thing is, it does seem like something you would recieve as an email in your junk filter. I wish you the best of luck.
The design itself is ok though nothing special. There is some merit with the previous comments on this. I can't really say that I like the content, because I don't and find zero value in the site overall because of it. Just another overhyped online infomercial. Sorry
Thank you to each DP Member who critiqued, I have green rep'd each of you accordingly. I have now installed a PHP Redirect on NicheSietsDynamics.info to SoftwareSettlement.com, while it is under construction. Mark
Okay Hang on tight if you are not familiar with Wordpress theming. Increase or change the font in your CSS. Widen the width of the wrapper (usually the name of the Div wrapping the whole design). You need more space to operate. right now your page is less than 750 pixels which might be constraining your font selection. I realize that some people still design for the 800 wide but I'd at least add another 50 pixels. (if you don't care about the very few people still using that size monitor even more space is what I'd suggest.) Next you have too much text flowing endlessly down the page without breaks. This gets dicey but what you need to do is go through the index.php file and if its not there change the content display tag option to excerpt. If you don't know then try going into the wordpress admin where you entered the article and try copy and pasting a few lines (hard for me to tell with the amount of themes out there and not knowing how old the template is) into the Excerpts field there. This will allow you to have just an excerpt of the entire story ( they click the click the link to get the whole article but get enough of it to hold interest on the front page). Alright you have a nice glossy look banner up top. but as you move down the page there is nothing to add accent. The human eye takes in the whole page thats visible on load up. So if you don't have actual pictures to add into your articles use some graphics like a spyglass or something (just off the top of my head there). You can of course use the tried and true screenshot of a web page as a lead into one of your articles. There are some other things such as adding icons that match your glossy banner and then theres the bullets you could change but I won't blow you away with all of that . Sometimes I can go on and on when I see a wordpress theme because its one of my specialties but I actually think you have a good start with that top banner and all your design needs is some space to breath and the appropriate accents.
