In a developing story, registrar Network Solutions has been caught front-running domain names. Any domain names searched via NSI's whois are being immediately purchased by the registrar, thereby preventing a registrant from purchasing the domain at any other registrar. You know I did a test. I just tried fuckyounetworksolutions.com on networksolutions.com, it was avaialbe when I search. But after 1 min, I do a search on whois.com : Domain Name: www.fuckyounetworksolutions.com Availability: No Fuck you Network Solution!
Definitely confirmed, search any domain you'd like from their site and it'll be immediately registered. Visit the URL right after and you see: http://gaygaygaygay.com http://digg.com/tech_news/Network_Solutions_steals_domain_ideas_Confirmed
LOL, good info. Never new. I use them all the time. Any how I just typed in aksdkjfjhdikfjdjwsjnvndkwskskcks all extensions available. We'll see how fast they get taken. Except .co.uk was taken. Say what. What kind site is aksdkjfjhdikfjdjwsjnvndkwskskcks.co.uk That's way to long. Who would reg that. ivnj
Not working for me. Not.com anyway. I typed in ilikenetworksolutions all were availabe. 1 minute later .co.uk and then 1 minute later .de. But .com not taken yet. Now it says .de is available and not taken. Their script is broken. ivnj
It'll appear not taken unless you try other registrars. Also, just visit the page and you'll see their Network Solutions page there.
Weird. It still shows available on their site. Just not anywhere else. So if this a scam. Then for future regs whic a good tool to lookup domains? ivnj
