Do hyphened domains work?

Quick question...

Say I wanted keyword1keyword2.com but couldn't however keyword1-keyword2.com was available...would that rank naturally as well?

Yes, Google see the hyphen as a separator, though try not to use too many in the domain name.

 

yes I am also satisfy with QAZU. Search engines indicates the hyphen as an indicator you can use 2 or 3 keywords with this hyphen.

 

I don't think there would be any problem using single hyphen, the single hyphen sometime look good especially when you join two words alike or related to each other.

 

Try not to go any higher then two hypens and you should be ok

 

I don't believe there is a huge value given to domain names, but using hyphens will separate your keywords...so it should help a little.

 

One of my domains is link-bid.co.uk and appears page 1 in Google for keywords Link Bid

 

A domain with a hyphen performs better than a domain without the hyphen.

I've experimented with this a few months back and that was my end result.

Yes, it would rank equally well. The only difference is that hyphenated keyword sites are sometimes viewed as MFAs or profit cows.

Yes, that would rank well...hypenated domain is acceptable...you can include up to 4 keywords in a domain separated with hypen...
