Hey all, This site Goople is the clone of Google and it served same purpose as a search engine. Is this leagal to have site like this? Issue: is this the violatio because its clone of google or misuse of google adsense for search.. if it use to change the look of the site and also name and then create a search engine site which has whole different look and all but serves as search engine and use google Adsense for search there, can there be a site like that?? What is the issue with www.dhoogle.com and some site like www.zinblog.com ..? P.S. This is not my site.. I was shocked with this idea and was thinking in that direction but need review and legality before i build one similar to that... Goople has been around the concept of google please provide all insight on it Thanks..
When a site or search engine is extremely popular, unscrupulous people tend to make that quick extra bucks by making sites like this. Is it ethical or legal to simply copy the look, design etc and just changing one single letter in the url. They cannot survive in the long run
Sure .... that's built on Google Custom Search Engines... formerly Google Co-Op It is a service from Google to make your own vertical search engines. I have a few actually I built as research tools for my mates.... they are fun to play with actually...
Sorry but it seems you didnt bother to check the site. Its not a google custom search engine. Its a rip-off. Check the site first. That idiot just copied all google homepage and changed the logo. All links still go to google. Google custom search doesnt work this way.
That site is sooo gone in a few days! It would be legal if they didn't copy Google's logo style. They're in copyright violation for using the same color scheme.
well hey ..sure look the same as the ones I built... you can define ad locations and I have it itegrated into my site template ( via Joomla actually) Maybe ye haven't built one lately, but that one performs the same as the 3 I recently built via GCS ... and that is the FREE version. They also now have a Pro version as well....

Try New Goople - Google Search Engine.. Goople is yours and you are using Adsense search in place of Google search bar while copying everything from Google and changing the "g" to a "p" I have reported to Google Adsense
I have learn one thing from one of the member in this forum. Click frauds means less effective advertising for the paying advertisers, this in turn leads to lower rates for the Adwords and cause the honest and good Adsense advertisers to suffer from the lower rates.
LMFAO @ the detective work. Problem is Goople is trying to fool users. That's where the issues come in. Had "Goople" (You) made their own BS design and not try to imitate Google, you would probably be OK.
Mr. Wisdomtool, Nice detective work.. but the point is whatever your have detected is in the wrong direction.. This is not my site.. but the Google Adsense Search code is mine.. and this was an idea of one of my net friend and he said to let him used my code..as he has been banned from adsense account... He gaved me luctrative reason by earing through Adsense Search and I thought its a good idea.. So he build it and as more I promote it would be my money I started promoting it.. then I read some legal issues and was concern hence started questioning it.. I have also emailed Google Adsense Staff to find out whats possible.. hence the point is.. finding it to be lucrative business I supported it, but after knowing the problem I questioned it to know what the answer...I am trying to play safe..
As soon as I saw the multiple links to Goople in your post it was rather obvious that it was your site, or that you were at least associated with it. That statement at the end right there sums it all up for me. You let a friend of yours who was banned from Adsense use your Adsense account information... Smart... Enjoy your Adsense ban.
Or even enjoy getting a C&D from Google telling you to give the domain name to them, Saurin. But I'm sure you won't mind.
