Need a solution. Mod please help

    Hello,

    I've had a bit of a problem for a while now. I continually get messages from DP members pm'ing me, thinking that I am a mod (presumably because I have a stickied post in the B/S/T section).

    I used to forward their PMs to crazyrob or another mod or sometimes give advice, making it clear that I have no affilation with the DP staff other than being a humble DP member.

    I don't mind helping people, in fact I enjoy it. However, its getting to be a ball ache, I constantly get PMs saying "I've been scammed".

    What should I do?

    put a note in your signature.

    Have a mod to edit the thread with a big bold note at the top saying
    "notting is not a moderator DO NOT PM FOR HELP"

    Now you know how we feel:)

    You can just ignore them or respond with a link to the mods page (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showgroups.php) so they know who to contact.

    I don't know that we can stop people from mistaking you for a mod. If you have a suggestion as to how we could feel free to PM me.

    I guess you have too many "Green" and are too helpful, maybe you should encourage others to rep- you :)

    Just joking......this is a good sign, it showed you had help others a lot so that they think you are a mod.

    i am also getting 1 or 2 pm's a week from people thinking i am a mod also :confused: .
