The many gay colors of travelocity

This morning I logged on to Travelocity and was quite offended. They have an entire section dedicated to "Gay Travel".

Why must we have a "Gay Travel" section? Do homosexuals really need their own section on travelocity to tell them where to travel? I don't see a Christian Travel, Heterosexual Travel, Family of 4 Travel, or any other type of travel. This to me feels flat out like discrimination. I know I personally won't be using their "services" any longer.

Some smart companies focus some of their marketing on clients with an above average education and above average household income. Gays tend to buy from companies that target gays as clients.

What's the difference between a gay hotel and a regular hotel? Which airlines are the most gay?

There are "gay cruises", "gay resort towns", "gay hotels", "gay bars", the list goes on. A few years ago we had a family trip to "P-town" on Cape Cod. The gay people walk up and down the streets holding hands, kissing in public, in general they are just kicking back and relaxing on vacation like everyone else. This might explain why gays need help with travel so they don't end up in gay bashing town USA. Some towns welcome the $$$$ and diversity and some opt to tell the cruise ship to find another port.

Why is it homophobic to wonder why people feel the need to go public with their homosexuality or push acceptance upon others for their lifestyle?
