I honestly never tried to write a poem in my life. I guess maybe I lack an artistic insiight to do so.
When i was in highschool so abot 5 years ago i writed some poems but they where in romanian language ...
I am slightly better, I did write a poem during literature class, but the teacher refuse to recognize that as a poem. I did tried to persuade her though. I guess poems are for those romantic and artistic ppl, not suitable for me, thats why I am an engineer
I love writing poems actually Here's a few of my written poems The Headache Never be Forbidden In your face, the real deal What now? Sexist oooohhhh poems...

This was one of my favorites, its true sad story A Love Like No Other She was sweet, with a love of her own; its her first year, she sure has grown; her time with us, has been full of joy; we'd play together, with her favorite toy; when i was gone, she whined so much; but when i got home, its like i had a touch; her excitement grew, when i walked in the room; you'd think i was gone for years, to the moon; id come in and cuddle with her, every night; id kiss her on the cheek, and hold her tight; she was my baby girl, and i love her so much; there is no way to replace, a love as such; i woke up this morning, to my hysterical mom, she was crying so hard, somethings really wrong; she said go outside!, go to the road!; i screamed out loud, oh god please, no!! i through on some shorts, and ran to the street. not caring what the frost, would do to my feet; my granny was there, screaming, no!! no!! i saw her in the street, god, it cant be so; but there she was, barely breathing at all; i reached down carefully, and held her paw; my sweet sweet puppy, dieing before my eyes; she tried to breathe, a couple deep sighs; i let her smell my hand, so she knew i was there; she blinked her eyes, and tried to stare; she couldn't move, she was paralyzed; but,she knew i was there, by the look in her eyes; she took another breath, she tried to hold on; but it wasn't much longer, and she was gone; the love we had, wasn't the same as you'd love your mother; it was a very special love, A Love Like No Other. this poem is dedicated to my dog, di oh gee. we love you and miss you
I wrote a poem once for one of those poem lead places. To see if it actually paid out. They sent me my poem in the mail and then offered to place it in this huge book of poems that was beautifully binded with everyone else for only $49.95. I often wonder how many people actually get suckered into that. Can't remember the poem at the moment. I think it started with Roses are Red
I got the same thing, i also get regular letters from the editor sayin i won some kind of reward, and that my poem would be placed in the same book. im sure they send it to everyone.
I write them spontaneously; You may find them scattered around GC. Now I'm off to play football, There I'll score 2 goal. See
