    Hi.
I have 3 scripts/software I am just releasing, thus money tight.

What is the best program/software to use to allow publishers to receive commissions on sales?

I agree with the previous posters if you are on a seriously tight budget. In my opinion, the ideal situation is to have programmers build your own inhouse tracking program in php or asp for between 1-2k.

There are a few reviews here of some of the most popular used software for affiliate programs online.

I would say that postaffiliatepro and idevaffiliate are ones that are quite cheap and seem to be used a lot these days, but that could be mainly because they are cheap. The main thing that you have to look for is fraud protection, features, etc. There is no point in getting an affiliate software solution for your affiliate program if it doesn't offer something that you want to give your affiliates. So make sure you look at all the features.

Put it here on dp and list program to all bigger affiliate directorys like affiliateseeking.com and associateprograms.com. Also check some webmasters forums if someone is looking for affiliate program like yours. I think I will use your program for one of my site. It's not made yet, so in month or 2 I'll sign up.
