Has anyone managed to get a commission from Bidz.com?

I was promoting their site over the holidays and despite a large number of clicks not a single one converted...seems a bit strange to me.

Funny someone mentioned that. I had luck with Bidz once, great kw's great QS, then i had it off for a month, started again before the holiday season and lost 200USD allthough my KW's where so great, it was unbelievable nothing converted, especially since there's this 30-day cookie. I think the problem lies within Bidz itself. Something must be not right with them. I sent 800 people, very targetted traffic there and got 3 or 4 conversions i think.

There was a time with less competition on this offer and i sent 60% of the traffic with keywords like "online jewelry auctions", jewelry auctions etc. still i didnt really make profit so i gave up on Bidz.

Azoogle only offers the 30dollar payout incase someone wins an item. I think if the payout was done for new registered users you refer you can make alot of money with it. Ourfreestuff.net had a USD6 payout on registrations for Bidz, but it got removed recently.

NeverBlueAds had a $6 registration for Bidz, and I have gotten two conversions from it, but nothing else.

They pay big, maybe because they know they don't convert well.

Forgot to mention, have you ever tried to win a bid on there? I shopped on Bidz.com before I became an affiliate. I wanted to get the wife some jewelry, and you would bid on something for like $20 with 2 minutes left, and the item would end over $250.

The way they do bidding allows the price to skyrocket. I think a lot of resellers and dealers are winning on the site. That could be a good reason no one ever wins an auction.

So they dont have this offer anymore? I would have looked into it again if you get paid for registrations.

So it must be Bidz system that prevents us from earning. I also find the whole setup a good idea and thought one could make good money out of it.

Their bidding system makes them a ton more money compared to eBay, but it also means it is a lot harder for people to win the auction.

(They reset the time left on the auction back to 15 seconds everytime a bid is made with less than 15 seconds left.) Ingenious idea, but it inflates the price like no other and is very hard to win.

I like their bidding system, Its far more like a real auction. Think if a auction house was like eBay and everyone raised their paddle at the last second. lol

I managed to get a set of earrings for my GF from there for Christmas, I won the auction at $35. The estimated value was $299...when the box came and I opened it, it had a price tag that said $80. Still a deal in my mind but be aware their estimates are really high.

I also tried them on neverblue after it didn't pay out on LinkShare. No conversions from their either, it was time to change products anyway.
