    Hi to all
I got the domain facepeer.com that's a good name as I know. So I'm planning to make blog by using wordpress. My blogging area is Telecommunication, Technology, Engineering, Web related works, Information technology etc.
I know the domain name is not matching with those areas. So I should improve the content since "Content is king method".

Give your valuable suggestion to me...........

    Regards

I would ask myself if the domain is suitable for the topics that you want to write on.

The domain really not related with your content.. Try looking a domain with 'tech' word..

Yes, I agree with you. But the content is not only in technology. There are many categories. So i think the domain name is like "Face Book" . That's a valuable thing to me.
So word peer has a value in Technology terms.

If the domain has a sound like name, It's better to any web site. Facepeer.com may be not a blog name, But i can make a good content.

Just try to get at least one of your main keywords in your name, you can never loose with this.

And forget about facebook, if your url was facebooc or something like this than you might benefit from it with a few visitors. But you wouldn't earn a cent with them since they are looking for facebook and not for tech things.

No.....But with a few hundred million to spend in marketing, you can make "Pigeon poop", into a household name.

So picking up a good/significant name for the project in the first place would probably save you some money on promotion, wouldn't it.
