Should I sign for CJ?

I have never used CJ & I was thinking of using it for one of my sites. I have a web site which has a traffic of about 40 uniques a day of semi-targeted traffic. I have read in the terms of Commision Junction that if I do not make a sale in 90 days, they will put me out of the program. Is this really so? Do you think that with this traffic I stand a chance of getting any sales at CJ in 90 days? Would you reccomend me to sign up?

 

Go ahead and do it. Even if you your account is terminated, you'll end up where you are now. Besides, at least for some advertisers, it is perfectly OK if you buy by clicking on your own link.

 

if you want to make some money then yes

 

With 40 uniques daily i wouldnt expect to be a millionaire over night... but if you dont try you never know...

No I do not want to get it terminated, that's why I am asking if with this little traffic you think I can have one sale every 90 days as their policy states... If I wanted to get teminated, I would open the account & that's it.

 

CJ will deactivate you. But it is not like a permanent ban, you can apply again later.

 

Just do it!

 

I will give it a try. I will try to build a little more traffic first & improve a little more the site before doing so.

 

You have to start somewhere. Read my ebook on Triangle Marketing it will teach you a bit about building traffic for your site and it is free. To make any really money on CJ you need buddles of traffic.

CJ works and 90 days is more then enough time to make some good coin... I placed CJ links on a brand new website - 40 to 80 visits a day - and I made $49.65 in comission in that first month.

It's all about targeting your visitors... If your site sells cars for example then post a banner ad for loans and if you sell travel services, then put up a banner from an airline company..

The only downfall of CJ is that certain campaigns require you to get approved. In other word they pick and choose which website will show their ads.

You have 90 days before you have to worry about being terminated plus you can just make a purchase yourself. There are much bigger things to worry about when it comes to building your website so take a deep breath and relax.

 

40 uniques per day is not so bad if you know how to turn 40 visitors into 30 clients then it will be ok
