URGENT : Does Paypal consider Rapidshare account selling as genuine ?

    i mainly sell rapidshare accounts generated from premium points.
    recently paypal asked me for RECEIPT of transactions...
    if i say that i sell rapidshare account will paypal ban me ?

    i read something here which i wanted to sort out :

    i have paypal transaction receipt.
    if i say that i provide service on internet... they can suspect as in paypal history... many buyers have wriitten and sent " rapidshare account " ...

    any suggestions ? should i be honest and tell paypal that i sell rapidshare accounts ? or will they ban me ?

    why not contact them and ask? or state it as selling accounts on yourt wbeiste? just say, that your site has Premium accounts, and you sold some

    Most of my buyers use BUY NOW buttons ... hence in item name ; it is written Rapidshare premium account... :( so if i say premium account of another site, they will realise easily that i am telling lies. :(

    I dont see any problem with this,there are so many Rapidshare resellers.

    Well, many rapidshare resellers around does not make such activities acceptable in Paypal's eyes especially since they specifically mentioned that file sharing is a prohibited activities and we all know what Rapidshare is. I doubt that Paypal is that stupid or living in some backward community to know what Rapidshare is about.

    You pretty much cannot use Paypal for activities which they deemed prohibited. Now just hope that Paypal let you off with just a warning and if they do, stop using Paypal for anything which is not acceptable.

    I agree. Explain your situation and that you didn't understand, and like Eddy said, hope they let you off with a warning. NEVER lie to them, because it won't ever work out in your favor. Just hope they've got some mercy in their hearts today.

    Ehm, you could also use Paypal to buy premium accounts straight from Rapidshare's website, right? So I see no problem with that.

    IMO you are not offering file sharing service. You are selling accounts from a file sharing service website then it would not be considered illegal.
    Moreover, I think since PayPal accept RapidShare, your transaction would be fine also.
