Oprah Winfrey is a true and carrying leader. She has good ideas! Would you vote for her as president of the United States? Please give your reasons as to why you voted yes or no.
Lol... I guess there is those that have to listen to her everyday but honestly, I don't care for her that much. Knowing her background however and knowing her upbringing..., she would do really well! Not too up-to-date with her stands and views though!
No, I feel she is too good to be the President! Politics is a dirty game I really hope she carried on with her good work then be tainted by being the President.
oprah is one of the fakest, most fraudalent, racist, dumbest, retarded ppl on earth she is the richest women for doing what? and she gives less than 1% to charity unlike bill gates and warren buffet that give 50%+ to charity!!! Even ur avg person gives 2-3% to charity!!! if she gave 10%+ she could make such a big difference, but all she does is talk big, doesnt do anything then she creates a school in south arica for 20million dollars for 50 students!???? and they were raped by a teacher there!!!!!! 20 million$$ can buy education for 15 years for 10,000 STUDENTS!!!!!!!! and she spends that money only on black girls and only 50 of them. Another thing is she is biased, she helps africa more because she is black, theres a lot of worse things happening which she doesnt care about cause they are not black, she spends half her money and time talking about CELEBRITY romances, and doesnt even care for family structures so she cant even relate to half of society. ppl with power and money and still dont do any good are PROVEN LOSERS
I vote based on issues and since I have no idea where she stands on any issues I wouldn't be voting for her. But she seems to be a rather superficial person (from seeing her show and her magazine) thus I don't think she'd make a good president. If she ran for president and she was for all the same things I was though, I would reconsider. She certainly has the name recognition and the money to do it.
I can agree with this-She only supports obama because hes Black. Unfortunately these are the times we live in. Shes nothing more than a Black-Nationalist/Racist,i see her in the same light as i see David Duke,Don Black and Frank Weltner.
wtf?! wtf is this some kind of fashion show?! hell why don't we have tom brady or joey porter for president!!? woo! i want brad pitt! what issues does oprah even stand for? think before you post
America is one messed up country for sure. Comic figure like Swarzenneger can become elected to very important positions. You know waht, if Oprah run for presidency, I bet she would get elected. LOL
Oprah would never be elected. She has too much against her minority wise. Look at hillary clinton she can not get alot of men votes because she is female. If anyone minority could win it would be Colin Powell i would vote for him over anyone in the race today fair honest and has a brain not like some politicans i know.
Dude, Schwarzenegger is doing great as Governor, he isn' just a comic figure anymore. He expressed his motives to go into politics long ago. It's not about any mess, it's about what you stand for. I can't stand the Oprah Winfrey show for sure.
Of course Schwarzenegger is a comic figure. Leave him stranded without any advisers and you will find there is nothing in between his two ears.
I'm not entirely against celebrities running for office for one big reason: They may enable big changes due to their big name. For example... If Ron Paul happened to be a RICH celebrity but he was saying all the same things he is saying, he would be getting a lot more media coverage and would probably be doing better in the polls than he is as a mostly unknown congressman. I also don't think we should think that only "career politicians" can or should be running for high office. I don't really see being a career politician as a necessary positive. Perhaps a well known business man... I'll throw out a name BILL GATES. I have no idea what his political beliefs are so I'm not saying I would support him... But he's both a celebrity and obviously a great business man who is extremely intelligent. If he happens to have political beliefs I agree with and he ran for President, I wouldn't oppose him just because of him not being a career politician. What I'm saying is, it's the stances on the issues that I find most important... and if a "celebrity" candidate can make so called controversial stances (like those of Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, and Mike Gravel) more acceptable to the media than that might end up working out in a good way. I really think a lot of these stances are totally common sense and that a lot of Americans agree with them (like ending the war on drugs) but the media won't touch them and neither will mainstream politicians... Perhaps this isn't making too much sense, I am quite hungry.
I dont know about Oprah, but I believe, that there is more chances of Arnold being president (if they change the laws about who can run for it).
