My Adwords Account Has Been Banned! What Now!

Discussion in 'Google AdWords' started by odonohuej, Jan 7, 2008.

    Hello,

I have recently purchased a couple of google accounts from a couple of members.

Unfortuneatly this has resulted in my adwords account that I purchased being banned.

The worst part is that it also got my BUSINESS account cancelled. So now what was free testing has turned into a disaster.

Is there any way I can get an adwords account again. I play by the rules and the only reason i got shut down was the purchased account.

I have tried creating a new account multiple times, but the Big G will not accept any of my CC. And I am afraid that if I get a new account, it will only be a matter of time before they shut it down again.

All my campaigns are on the up and up, and this is really strangling my profits.

Is there any way I can create a new account that won't get shut down, with my original information.

Hopefully someone has the answers to these questions. Please help me out.

    Thanks,
    -Justin

Nope, not unless Google decides to reverse their decision.

I warn people about buying accounts all the time. It's a horrible, horrible, horrible idea.

In my experience, they don't unban the accounts that been suspended, unless there was some mistake.

There is way, how you can get back to Adwords. You have to register new account using someone else's details and card. (friend, family member, etc)

You won't be able to come back with your details and your card.

P.S. I am in the same situation :(

This is quite the dilema. I have had an account for a couple years but never used it. And now just when I was looking to get started with it, I got notice that it was shut down.

So I am in the same boat trying to get a new account under a corporate name.

If you would've abided to the policy by not transferring accounts and only having one account, then this wouldn't have happened. They also most likely have logs showing if you've tried to create more accounts after the ban so a plea would just get rejected.

Interesting. Were you careless in signing in? Did you use proxies? Clear your cookies and cache? Sign into multiple accounts under same IP?

    Perfectly fine.

OT: Why the hell were you buying accounts anyway? Going by "So now what was free testing has turned into a disaster.", you bought accounts with a coupon balance or to use coupons? Why in the earth would anyone risk their account for a couple of bucks?

Oh well, tough luck dip shit.

it gets worse. They usually dont only ban your accounts...they can also blacklist your sites so you get $8 minimum bids in the future :)

If you're buying accs then you better know what you're doing. Its BAD.

3 thing you should know before using Adwords

    1. Don't buy ANY accounts
    2. Read the rules VERY carefully, before deciding to add a campaign or change something
    3. Keep reading Help and Learning Center, and Adwords ebooks

    Okay,

So I have gotten permission from my GF to use her name and address. And I am going to buy a refillable visa card to use to fund the Google adwords account.

What precautions should I take to keep my account from being banned once again?
    -Clear Cookies
-Change IP (what software, or methods do you recommend for this?)
    -Clear all history
    - What other precautions should be taken to enable this account to run?
    - Can I still use the same website?
    - Or do I have to set up a brand new website?

Thanks for all of your help, it is greatly appreciated. More than you know.

Clear cache and cookies, use a browser without google toolbar. If you got a dynamic IP from your provider, just disconnect your router, otherwise use an elite proxy, no special software needed, although TOR/Privoxy is a nice combo and would work as well.

You can't use the websites you used on the banned accounts, none of them, forever. Make sure the new domain is registered on your GF as well, since google can see beyond whois privacy (they are a registrar)...just for security, although it's more critical for AdSENSE.
