What improvement/changes would You Like To See in DP Forum?

I just thought, it would be a great idea if we can collect the points that we want to say in a thread, and then fwd it the authority concerned..

So, let us share what changes/improvement would you like to see in this forum.

No major changes I'd hope. I hate change. Things are going pretty good as is, no? I mean I really like the free text advertising concept that ConquerYourNiche has, but other than that... no changes I'd hope!

Ok, I think we need something more than the stereotype replies here

Let me start :

* I login n I dont know how to go DIRECTLY to the the page where i can locate all my thread that i started. The best way i have is to got to User CP, take any of the subscribed thread, find any of my post, go to my profile using it .. SO LET ME KNOW if we have DIRECT LINK TO MY PROFILE PAGE.

* In case we have one, then I would like it to be clearly visible, I spend a few hours every day on this forum and STILL, I dont get when it comes to locate my own profile

PLUS

I would like to see a CONTACT US (ADMIN / MODS) button on the front page EASY VISIBLE , It shouldn't be THAT hard even to TRACE THE BUTTON O 'CONTACT' ....

Ban the Paypal for MB,EG etc etc threads.
Stop the stumble/digg exchanges.
Couple more mods to handle the growth of the forum.

 

hmm... i think it would be better if we can be ore careful while exchanging, ppl do scam u even in EG n MB exchanges... so that's something personal, we can avoid it by using our common sense..

Nah, it would be better with a sub-forum in freebies for stumbles etc.

DP is the best webmaster forum but they are too strict in implementing threads policy

 

Your first issue can be solved with the Quick Links arrow. Click on it and it will drop down a menu where you can find your profile and your subscribed threads quick and easy. Also in your User CP, you will find your subscribed threads along with your current reputation received.

Your second issue: You can contact a moderator concerning any post by using the little ! in the triangle located on every post in the forum.

24/7 mod in the AdSense section. That part of the forum has gone WAY DOWN HILL.

 

New B/S/T Section with new rules and a complete revamp!

Would make DP, MUCH better!

 

I would love to see a goat trading section.

 

I'd like to see more maturity here.

Especially in the "Sales" forum, members should only be allowed to post questions that are relevant to the thread... No comments such as "too expensive", "good luck", etc..

 

A high percentage of these types of posts are moderated.

 

That's already a rule. Off topic comments in sales threads (or comments from people who are not buying) are not permitted. If you see violations of this rule just report the post using the triangle in the upper right of each post.

also if u have noticed the subscribed threads keeps disappearing from 'USER CP, Evey time i click on 'User CP', i see different subscribed threads

 

Another forum I was at decided to try that and completely destroyed almost the entire forum by changing that one section. It was never the same again and had a completely different (for the worse) atmosphere.
