I can't believe that people still think things like this in the year 2008. It's just beyond my comprehension.

 

Yea, I think they really miss the bad old days. When women were treated like property, couldn't vote and kept subservient to men. There are so many uppity women that actually believe they can make decisions w/o consulting a man first! It is a disgrace, I tell you. Ungodly!! LOL

 

You guys who are christian and say women shouldnt have authority in any matter over any man are forgetting about the woman in the bible that crushed satans head under her feet , and that is mary.

 

Women are different but equal.

IMO, women have different role in life. I believe there are rare women who can lead a country from the front. History has shown us many such examples. But, it is a rarity.

God made women to do different tasks. Their brains are wired differently. Their bodies are different. Their emotions, their thinking pattern is very different than the male counterpart.

For example, let me tell you about a girl. She is a close friend of mine. We've been friends for 7 years now. She is very intelligent. A brilliant speaker, a great friend, a good writer, very, very smart at getting things done. She even earns more than me.

But when I asked her what was her aim in Life, she said she was tired of this life. It is too hectic for her, she can't handle all this pressure. She just wants to look after the house and children, maybe adopt an orphan (social service), sort of retire, and get married.

Now, I was shocked. I've known her for years. But I never thought she'd give up like this. She's just wasting her talents. But that is a short-coming in women. They may be creative, they may be efficient, but their brains are wired differently, to do different stuff, IMHO. They cannot be good leaders.

 

I call it you justifying sexism and oppression with your religion.

 

No not forgetting it at all, if you will look back in the thread you will see that i made sure i noted how the bible exalts women. And yes there were many great women in the bible, and some may have even take authority over men, that doesn't make it ok. A womans submission to men is a commandment from God.

Just because people break the laws does not mean the law doesn't exist.

I know this is hard to swallow, which is why i prefer not to explain to those who don't belief in God or the bible. but for those that take the bible for what its meant to be which is the truth. Women submitting to men as their authority is all over it. And its not about power, its about order.

that makes no sense at all. If any believer is taking advice about faith, from a non believer, than he might as well be talking to Satan. Jesus said if you are not for me, you are against me. The bible is solid, in accuracy and truth. From documented fulfilling of historic prophecies to Scientific revelations 1000's of years before man.

See in order for me to convince you that women should be submissive, i have to convert you. I'm not really prepared to do that. I know that the world today i destroying itself, more and more.

TV shows allow more cursing and sexual material

Is this OK? This is what this modern world without God has brought.

Children dint listen to their parents, some go out and blow up their teachers.

The world is turning into crap. And its due to the rebellion against God.

With that being said, all of you saying " i cant believe in this day and age" need to ask yourselves. Are you free? yes you are free to be poisoned by the world.

All i can say is if there are Christians reading this, you know what the bible says, Gods words are eternal.
