Not receiving $$ from google despite clicks on my ads

I've just set up a website n im new to adsense... just to see whether my site is working n complying with google rules n son , some people hav clicked on my ads n hav gone through the website but when i've checked my earnings, i noticed that my balace is still $0.00 . I don't know whether google pays instantly or i'll hav to w8 :S plzz help m8

 

How do you know that people have clicked your ads????

 

You have to wait mate, same thing happened to me. don't worry.

 

When you login in google adsense you can know how many clicks received.

 

It takes awhile for google to update....

 

But if you see how many clicks you will see how many earnings....

Or he clicked on his own ads ...

 

It updates instantly . You have to check with your code whether its correct or not .

 

Don't worry you'll get paid.

I had the same problem the other day. The stats showed click but no money. Than I remembered I used the feature to permit only certain sites to show my code. When I added my new site to the list, it was okay from that moment, clicks get counted now.

 

I smell foul play.

 

Just log in to your adsense account and see the stats showing the no. of page impressions, CTR, eCPM etc. It will show you the no. of dollars accrued to your account because of clicks. Depending upon your payment option (like 100 dolars, 500 dollars) the check will be sent to your address once you reach the target. But be patient for the check to reach your address which will take up to 4 weeks

 

you can see how much you have earned by going to you Adsense account. But make sure you don't click your own ads.

 

Maybe it was free ads displaying, when somebody clicked on your ad? You wrote that your account balance is $0.00, but didn't mentioned how many clicks did you get.

 

If you click or your friends click, that's considered as invalid click, hence google does not pay.
