Startup: New Pay-Per-Click Network For Small Business

    Hi Folks:
We started a new pay-per-click network for small business and we're looking for publishers and advertisers that want to try it out and provide feedback.

    Quick Summary:

Simple pay per click model with text ads only- keyword, category, and geographic targeting- using a proxy-bidding system. Ads go online in minutes. Use it to promote affiliate sites, e-commerce sites, blogs, etc.

Publishers get paid 50% of bids via PayPal ($25+) twice per month (1st & 15th). Multiple ad formats, colors, etc. are available.

There's more information on the site (see signature), and since we're new, we're open to your thoughts and suggestions.

If you're interested in learning more, PM me or post away.
Looking for your feedback and opinions.

Quick update for those that signed up-thanks for the great work! The $5.00 signup bonus has been added to your accounts. You must have a Paypal account to receive payment. Right now it's the only method of payment/payout we offer- sorry we don't offer more at right now, but in the future we might, it's just so much easier with paypal. Also, since some of have asked the same questions, please signup for the newsletter so you can keep posted with setup info. etc. This is on the top right part of the homepage.

    Good question:
Since we are a startup, bids are low. We'll be paying by paypal as publishers reach the payment threshold of $25. So to answer your question, all publishers have been receiving credit for valid clicks, however only the high traffic ones have reached the threshold.

    Another good question:
You can never have enough publishers or advertisers. We have had a large sign-up rate over the past week. Bids are still low, although we are generating moderate traffic levels. We're less than 1 month old, and at this rate, we expect higher traffic levels as we grow.

The highest traffic channel is the 'general' traffic. This is the one most publishers are using. The more vertical channels are slowly moving along. I suspect over time, as more publishers sign up, more vertical traffic will increase.

    Thanks for the good questions!

    Would I get any impressions / clicks if I use 10 - 20 keywords?

Or is it more effective to select all keywords or something?

That's a good point. So with our system, you can add 10-20 keywords + select the appropriate category. This way, if your keyword is not found on a content page, you can still display on the page depending on bid. Moreover, if you keyword is on the page, then your rank will be higher vs other ads on the page. This is more cost effective, but doesn't always show the most impressions.

If you goal is to maximize impressions, select no keyword and the "General" category. That will show your ad more frequently.

    Hope that helps.
I'm going to suggest we put that one in the next newsletter- good question indeed.
