I'm thinking about acquiring this domain name for my cars forum.
How much do you think this domain is worth?

 

Question... is it for sale?

This domains was registered back in 1995, thus it might be costly and domains with "Z" tend to be associated to warez sites.

 

I honestly don't see how carz.com will be associated with warez
As for the cost, how much do you think it is worth?

 

It's a very nice domain. Would probably go for at least Low $xx,xxx IMO

 

Good domain, but at least high $x,xxx. Maybe even higher.

The domain is not aged at all, regardless if it was originally registered in 1995, it has since been redirected and non-indexed.

Do a google search for site:carz.com

you will see no listing

so if you did acquire this domain it will take time for it to even be listed, at which point it will be like starting fresh with a brand new registration (maybe worse if the domain was banned or something)

 

it is a nice domain name but might take a long time to get indexed in google as most of the traffic comes from there.

i bought this domain www.used-car.org

 

hot name- awsome LLLL.com to start- stockz.com sold for 25000.00
persoanlly i like this one better- more people deal with cars than stocks

 

I like Carz.com. Very brandable. $XX,XXX in my mind.

If its just a domain i would say some $10,000

 

Because most of the domains out there using "Z" instead of "S" are related to warez, nullified scripts, illegal content and so on.

I don't mean all of them but I have read this is the general audience's perception.

Yes mid to high xx,xxx if it's for sale, the other reason this domain is good is due to the typo of cars.com as the "z" and "s" keys are joined.
