anyone have issues with Dada Mobile offer leads today? Ive had over a hundred clicks with no conversions?
I was promoting an international ringtone offer last month which was doing pretty good for about 2 weeks. My convertion rate was around 1 lead for every 10/12 clicks as an average for around 2 weeks, than all of the sudden it starts to sink where the leads start to happen every 20 to 30 clicks. I really would love to understand if this is normal and if anybody else here sees the same thing happening with their campaigns. I wonder sometimes if it is something wrong with tracking or perhaps just part of this business. Any inputs are welcomed! Cheers
I started with ringtones one week ago and it's really inconstant. Today wasn't good... 40 clicks and 1 conversion... the good days are 1 lead for every 10/12 as well. maybe i should try another offer/network and see if i'll get those "bad days"
just wondering, what are your landing page CTR guys? Mine is in average 64% i think it could be much better... what do you think?
It's a cyclical thing - December was pretty good for me but January has been pretty ugly so far...I'm hoping things will turn around sooner rather than later.
Thats affiliate marketing, it goes up and down and up again... You will see that all over, not only with ringtone offers. You have to feel the market to know when it goes down to never come back again.
Thanks man! It is interesting that on Thursday I got around 10% conversion rate and the next days it drop to somewhere betwen 3 to 4%...and it kept like that since.. Sometimes makes me wonder about clickfraud or some sort of poor clicks by your competitors or so...
100 clicks isn't really that much... especially without knowing the quality of the traffic you are getting.
restarting a campaign with 45K keywords for dada. we'll see how it does. last time i used a landing page until conversions trickled down. Testing with an iframe now.
Just for the record - my last two days were excellent. As I said, it's a very cyclical thing (same with most affiliate offers) some days will be great, other days will be terrible. Usually your AM can answer any questions - if I have a really terrible day or two I usually send him an email just to make sure everything is running smoothly.
At 1PM Using Yahoo Search right now. Conversion rate of 1 in 183. Standing at a loss of $2.00 right now.
Final results - Yahoo 646 clicks 3 conversions. Total Loss of $15. 2 conversions came from the content network so that might be worth looking into. I'll change some things around.
I believe some offers do much better on the Content Network than on Search, plus the cost per click is much cheaper as well. My international ringtone campaign brought in over 1000 leads for December all from the content network with a conversion rate around 10%. When I tried to use only Search, the conversions dropped to 4%. Test...test...test cheers
I've been wanting to get started with this type of marketing for quite sometime. I've got a nice nest egg built up, and am wondering if you guys know of any decent ebooks to get me started? I was looking at therichjerk, but I'm not sure. Any suggestions?
