You can always count on his focus groups endorsing McCain, Romney or Giuliani. He was made most famous by these comments by Penn Gillette. Frank Luntz is a looser, a sellout and a traitor! Distorting the truth and manipulating it is cowardly! FUCK YOU FRANK!!! P.S. "You would think he could afford a nicer apartment." LOL
I think the MLK money bomb is an excellent idea. For one thing it'll show everyone in the media that the Ron Paul campaign is going to go strong through the end. That we will not be discouraged by any early primary results. For another thing it'll be a great message to those who are trying to smear the Paul campaign as racist. It's funny (in a sick way) to me because most of the Paul supporters I've talked to are not even close to racist. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if racism % was lowest among his supporters than of any other Republican. Anyway I just pledged to donate (again) on January 21. Only a min. $10 pledge.
Exactly. I think it's incredible that they they attempt to label Paul as a "fringe" candidate for the sensible logical things he says and then not McCain when he says this insane BS! If anyone is "fringe" it's a candidate like McCain who thinks we should be in Iraq for a million years, it's a candidate like Giuliani who literally said in a speech that "freedom is authority," it's a candidate like Huckabee who thinks he's a part of "God's Army." It's the other Republicans who are truly fringe candidates. Ron Paul is the candidate of rationality & reason.
LOL I am watching CNN here in the UK and some dude is live from NH (program is called AndersonCooper360) and in the background behind the guy talking is all Ron Paul banners including a massive white one saying "RON PAUL ON LENO TONIGHT" It is almost surreal, not one single mention of Ron Paul when he's interviewing peeps yet every single banner, flag, placard is Ron Paul. Update: Whooooooooooo he finally got a plug!! Anderson said "There is a lot of support here for Ron Paul." They did a camera pan around the whole area and there were hundreds of banners. Mainly young people too, what a great show of support he's getting. They also went to Dixville-Notch where it looks like it's all hand counted too. I wish the whole Presidential election was hand counted, if it was then Bush certainly would not have been re-elected in 2004.
The NH results will shock the whole world. In India, the media thinks Republicans have no chance of winning, no chances at all. Here, the impression is Republican = Neocon. No one knows about Ron Paul. All we hear is Obama and Hillary and Edwards... Thats it... There is no chance in Hell that Americans will elect another Republican after 8 years of neocon rule. Cross your fingers for NH, coz I believe Ron Paul can come 2nd here, and this small victory can make all the difference for Paulenteers.
I still think 3rd is possible. I was hoping for 2nd but I've had a rethink on that as the Gameshow Host looks nailed on for that, with McCain first.
Yeah the polls make it look like 1st and 2nd are an impossibility, especially when considering Obama's strong pull on independent voters. Luckily I think 3rd is still good enough to get some serious media attention, which is what he really needs at this point. The Republican race looks so wide open right now that I don't think it's really necessary to win just yet... Just to get more attention so more people can really hear his message.
Hopefully it's enough to push him into 3rd! Huckabee was on Leno the night before Iowa and that worked out for him... I haven't seen it yet, looking forward to it being on YouTube.
Huckabee is on Letterman tonight. Man he's getting some lucky appearances. Leno had Paul on specifically because he felt bad about the exclusion by FOX from the debates. It was one of the absolute best interviews I've seen for Paul. My Facebook group is usually quick as lightning with Youtube uploads (an hour or less!), so I'll post the link when I have it.
