Well, I know it's not my place, but I think the banners you've made don't really apply to the owner's site. It's not about airplanes or travel, it's about meta-blogging and making money online - that kind of thing. I think the best thing would be a neat, web 2.0 banner - just a nice logo. But besides that, count me in. I'll be entering soon enough!

If you were scammed it was your own fault as it is pretty simple to protect yourself. I personally wouldn't admit that I was dumb enough to be taken by a scammer. The issue of watermarking your entry has been well covered already...so if anybody has a problem dealing with me then they are free not to enter or submit....its no skin off my back...I will find someone who is willing to do it. My integrity is worth far more to me than a free logo for my blog. I have offered this much money because I am willing to pay that much for someone that can make over the entire top end of my blog. I am not happy with it at all but I am also not that creative. It's a curse. I have high standards and I want what I want, but I am also willing to pay for it. I am not paying the typical DigitalPoint slave labor wages but I am also not after the typical thrown together banners. The first designer to even come close to putting together a nice looking header that is something I could work with, I will contact and negotiate my specifics. I know it isn't the typical way things are done here, so feel free not to enter if this is a problem for you. As for the airplane logo...I think the other poster nailed it....it's not even in the ballpark of the theme of my blog or what I am after. I am more after something like http://bcmblog.com/ or bloggerunleashed or even John Chow or Cow...either one. Also...I just noticed...it's a splogger who's questioning my integrity.....defines irony doesn't it.

Hammer, any feedback on mine so far? Dude, he said to emulate BCM Blog, not to copy and take the exact same 'blue sunrise city' thing. I'm sorry, but that's just plain stealing ideas.. There's just too much similarity.
Sorry guys...but so far I haven't even got into the ballpark. I am going to try elsewhere and try to locate a designer that can help me with the design. Thanks to all who tried and if anyone has an entry that they would still like considered....PM me. As of now though the contest is closed.
