If you don't even know how to move your site there, do NOT go for a dedicated server! Not even for a managed one - management usually only means they will apply security fixes and kernel updates.

You are really better off to go with a good, reliable shared host with good support who is not overselling.

If the bottleneck is "only" bandwidth, there are plenty of shared hosts to choose from. Don't buy the cheapest, but you can in any case stay FAR below 50 pounds/month!

Sorry to repeat myself. It's your business, but I can only urge you not to get your own server, no matter if it's virtual or not. Even if your VPS host helps you with issues, it doesn't mean that it's well protected against attacks and, also important, a shared webhost who is not overselling offers more resources than a VPS for the same price. And higher reliability/uptime, too.

If the problem is bandwidth, many shared hosts can calculate 'unmetered bandwidth' for web sites, while VPS offers usually won't be unmetered.

I hope for you that traffic won't go DOWN when you introduce ads! :)

Sorry, but I cannot recommend a hoster for that right away.

Start here: ht**://whreviews.com/unlimited-bandwidth.htm (read, then maybe click "Honest Hosts" in the upper left)

If 50G/mo bandwidth is the only problem, another shared hosting with much more bandwidth (e.g. 1000G/mo) can help you solve the problem. Do not buy a bigger plan except you really need it.

The most difference between shared plan, VPS and dedicated may be the CPU/RAM limit. It requires some time for your bandwidth grow from 50G to 1000G. And at some point, let's say 200G, the CPU load caused by your scripts may exceed what the admin allowed. Then that's the time to change to VPS or dedicated.

I can easily support your needs on one of my dedicated servers and definitely for under $50 if you are interested. I hand pick clients and keep them spread over my servers to keep the load down and reliability high. I can give you more information once you PM me. Thanks. :)
