400-500 uniques/day but can't make money :s Please help!!

    Hi,

I have a website that gets about 400 to sometimes 600 unique visitors per day. My website is in Dutch and is about gaming, so maybe that's why I didn't succeed to make money so far. I know that 400 UV/day isn't very much, but it's something and I'm sure that should be enough to earn a bit money from it.

I'll just try it anyway and that's why ask it here. I need your help. Does anyone know a good solution for me to earn some money with my website (with CPM, PPC, affiliate or so ...)? I don't need to earn e.g. $500/month (will be impossible for me :() , but with a nice $100/month or so I would be happy:p. I think that programs like clickbank or other product-sell programs won't work for my site, because most of my visitors are from Belgium or the Netherlands.

It is very hard for me with my Dutch website to earn money with it, but I need to get an income to pay the website bills that come in (hosting etc.).

Any help, tips etc. are welcome!
    Thank you for your time!!

Btw, the website I'm talking about is: http://www.modbase.be

You might be able to earn some easy money with Zango (pay-per-install). I'm assuming most of your traffic is dutch? You should check your logs to get a breakdown of your visitors by country and then look at the payout table at Zango. You might be surprised.

adsense is not a good solution for some websites (especialy dutch ones).

    Try tradedoubler - tradetracker - m4n etc

adsense is good, if your website is about diferent kind of niches
But yours is about gaming, and only gaming.

You can find ads with Tradetracker - Doubler that pay better (sometimes 0,15€/klik) then you ever will on adsense.

with what kind of program do you try to make some $$ now?

I do not see any ads on your site? 400 uniques per day is not alot, but enough to make at least the $100 p/m that you are talking about.

Try Layer ads for CPM. They pay like 4 euros for 1000 uniques when it comes to German visitors.

Thanks for the tip, I'll take a look at it. I hope this one works for me.

I have tried tradedoubler before (at the bottom there is a tradedoubler ad), but most of the times you can only earn money with sales there. M4N isn't a big offer too (tried it before) and with tradetracker there are no really good paying advertisers for my nich (most of the times it's about vacations or loans.)

I have disabled my ads (still one ad at the bottom), because they didn't give me income. I tried ValueClick and Adsense (got banned and don't know why). What do you suggest?

    I'll check it out, thanks!

Do you mean this site: https://layer-ads.de/ ?

Yes, I was talking about that one. I'm sure your faithful visitors will understand that the popups pay the bills.

Have you tried to monetize your site with something that pays for email leads? Maybe you should try Pokerstrategy.com, they have a great affiliate program (I made over $600 with it).

Well, I think that pop-ups are the most annoying ads to display and I still want to give my visitors a pleasant stay. Pop-ups don't really attrackt people. I was more thinking about simple CPM banners.

No never tried before. Btw, I can't really find their affiliate program

i cant believe that nobody asked u what's the quality of your visitors..
    m8 u can have 50 000 visitors and u wont earn a $,and you can have a 1000 quality visitors and you will earn 10$ a day...

if i would be on your place,i would think about money,i would think about expending my site, getting more quality visitors(read forum you can find a lot good tips)..

After u gain 2,3 k visitors daily then think about earnings...

My visitors are 100% quality. When I check Google Analytics, I have more than 80% returning visitors. All the visitors I get find what they've been searching for.

Pokerstrategy.com has a tell-a-friend affiliate program. You show their banner on your site, one of you site's visitors click on this banner, registers at Pokerstrategy, he gets his $50 no deposit poker bonus to his PartyPoker account, and while he plays at Partypoker using the $50, he earns PartyPoints. After he earned like 15 partypoints, you get $15 to your Partypoker account from Pokerstrategy. When the guy reaches like 500 Partypoints, you get another $75 to your PartyPoker account.

tnx.net works great for selling link-space in your sidebar. I make $70/month from them for displaying 2 text links on every page of my site, which is pretty good.

I just visited your site and I see that you have a nice PR4 and lots of content.

I'd definitely do some Advertising renting and/or backlink exchange (as somebody suggested)

On the other hand, I'd try to change the looks of the site.As I told you before, I did a quick browsing and... I don't know... If I was a potential advertiser, I'd think twice because it looks a little too crowded.

    My two cents.

What do you mean with too crowded? Are there too much panels? Is the theme not nice?
