Problem with Verifying Site in Google Webmaster Tools

Hi,

I use Google Webmaster Tools, I have already a site verified in it but now I see it writes Not Verified again

I follow to verifying with the existing options again: adding a meta tag or uloading a file...

But it says still not verified

Was same problem for anyone?

What should I do now?

Most likely a glitch. I have had this happen to me several times in the past. Within a day or two, it should most likely be back to normal.

I wouldnt worry too much about it.

Reverify by pressing the verify button.

 

Did you delete the verification file? You may wanna leave it on your site.

 

no, I mean file exists, I even remove it and upload again.. and it is available from the browser

I click on verify again it says:

Verification status: NOT VERIFIED
Last attempt Jan 7, 2008: We've detected that your 404 (file not found) error page returns a status of 200 (Success) in the header.

 

Did you use meta tag for verification?

 

Must be a google glitch then, contact the google support.

 

Chmod the googlexxxxx.html file to 777
