Don't submit site with low PR

Some people say that I may not submit my site to directories with high PR if I have PR -1 (site without any PR) because they will reject my site and I will not be able to submit site again (their web application will say that my site is already in database). They will get my site domain in their database, but site will not be listed because of low or very lower PR than directory PR. So they say that I must submit only to PR0 directories and when google update my PR from -1 to 0, than I can submit to PR1 directories and when I get PR1 than submit to PR2 directories etc.

Is that true? Are they reject websites because of low PR or because bad content.

Can I submit site again if my site is rejected or I can forget these directories where I have submitted before?

    Hello....

All sites start with PR0 and if that is the case them forget them all together.

NO site should be disregarded due to its PR (pigeon rank) providing its a quality
site and meets the guildlines from that directory owner or editor.

Submit your site to any directory that you feel is worthy of your time ....period

You may submit to ADD URL LINKS and it will be reviewed
as soon as an editor has time. ;)

    thx

But can I resubmit my site to directories which have rejected my site? Will my site be in datbase or it will be deleted after rejection. Can I resubmit to rejected directories?

avoid that, it will merely annoy the editors, rather look at you site, ask yourself why your site was rejected

Some rejections are baseless(inexperienced editors), but some show the your site is deficient in some way.

Try submitting to really established directoriesm if they accept you, then you have a better idea about the percieved quality of your site

Whoever told you that needs to see a doctor. Whichever free directory owners that are reviewing sites based on their PR need a good telling off....

If they reject site just make sure it has proper meta tags and looks good. Move on to next site and submit it.

    Hi,

If you submit your website to a directory and you get a message saying your site is already in the database it means the site is still pending review or it’s listed, if your site was reject it would no longer be in the database.

As already stated, if your site meets the directory owners guidelines it will be approved.

Don’t worry about being rejected because of PR.

Good luck to you and your site.

    Thanks Brian

If i am doing free link exchanges from a pr6 website then i like to get something back from it either traffic or comparable pr .But if you are paying then I would think any pr should be ok.There are alot of good pr zero websites out there .

I wouldn't waste my time resubmiting to a directory that had previously rejected my submission. Too many directories out there to worry about not being listed in a few.

I've had some of my newer sites rejected because they were not a pr 1+. Just move on to the next directory as others have noted.

It doesn't matter. There are so many thousands of directories out there that you should just forget about the few that reject you. Ignore them, move on, and keep submitting to the rest.

That's ridiculous that a directory would reject it due to PR.

un-fortunately most free directories sort listings of websites due to PR, and most of those directories don't update the site's PR after pr update also. so if you submit a site which is PR0, then it goes to deep inner pages where you can't get any benefit of the link!! after the PR update also your site will stay in the deep pages of the listings as the submitted site's PR will never change!

This is the reason why i suggest to wait for good PR before submitting to free directories. And when you have poor PR then submit as featured so that you can get the visiblitiy:cool:

PR doesn't come into it for most directory editors, and the ones that use it as a criteria for judgement are just lazy. Original content is the most important thing.

As for resubmission, don't bother with it unless these three things apply: the directory is very important in your niche, your website has changed significantly for the better and had a makeover, and at least 6 months have passed. In other words, almost never resubmit.
