This sucks all of a sudden my clicks are now getting 1-3 cents per click.. I am taking this is smart pricing in effect. does anyone know how long it will last?

Also if I get rid of the site that I think cause the smart pricing will they remove it?

    Dam this sucks...

may not be smart pricing after all. use google adsense preview tool and check what ads could be coming on your site and check for any low paying ppc ads. i had done this check day before and was surprised to see that on one page all 8 ads were from same site (meanwhile.com) that was using different domains in the ad unit

you cant do anything against smartprice!3 months passed and still 4 cent average! No matter what, average is 4 cent, some days 2000 clicks=80 dollar (or a little less) some days 1000 clicks 35-40 dollar

It doesnt depend on niche or keyword or low paying ads,it is GOOGLE!!!

I was earning 2-3000 dollars and suddenly 1st of september the rates decrease ( i think they found out at august earning and that was the best earning for me) but i didnt change anything at my page,so it doesnt depend on niche or ads...

The smart pricing is really something isn't it. I wonder how much Google actually is making on the click.

The people that click the ad's need to convert better. Typically MFA's don't, hence they are low paying..

Keep working on it, and things will get better :D

I have the same problem - not making any changes, but CPM keeps going up and down. Did anyone manage to see any patterns in their CPM fluctuations? Weekdays up, weekends down?

Well I had a .10 cent click today.. lol. I have it now that all teh sites gets 8-% of there traffic from Google or yahoo. Expect the arcades which I get a lot of direct.. though the arcade sites have the higher clicks of all my other sites.... weird.

I'm starting to wonder if smartpricing is not an easy excuse for google to stop paying.
