Let's put EA aside for a second, because i'm just wondering, would it be a good idea to push real hard on article marketing at GoArticles, by posting loads of articles, everyday, and if so, would it mean great results? (For AM and Traffic) I haven't signed up with them yet, so do they have restrictions on how many articles you can submit? Peace.
As far as I know they don't have any restrictions, on how many articles you can submit. I have used them for a while now, and will occasionally submit an article to them. I haven't noticed too much traffic from them, but then again I also use EA, and haven't noticed that much from them either. As for SE Ranking, it can't hurt. I try to submit to GoArticles, in addition to a bunch of other article directories. I think that this gets you the most traffic quickly. I hope this helps, Kyle
real money?? Not in my opinion... if you put that much effort into writing countless articles.. there are plenty of better ways to make better use of your time and earn much more than you can with Goarticles.
Well I wasn't the one that said this, but I do kind of agree with him. GoArticles, and the other article directories, do not give you very much traffic. So it might make since to just focus on other forms of promotion. However article marketing does have many benefits that other forms of promotion don't have. For example it allows you to get traffic to your site, and promote your site in the SE's, at the same time. I do think that article marketing is a good form of web promotion, if you do it right. You shouldn't just submit to one directory, but you should submit your articles to multiple directories instead. This will allow you to get a lot more traffic to your site. Kyle
No. Not necessarily. I know a free tool, that allows you to submit to many directories quickly. It may take a while to get used to, however once you figure it out you will be able to submit your site to directories, really quickly. If you want the software just pm me. Thanks, Kyle
Sounds good, but from what I have learnt, there are only a few article directories worth submitting to, maybe 4 or 5, because of their traffic.
I have never used article directories and promotion through them, but if your article is really worth it and can convince the readers to buy the product you are promoting, then even small traffic is good... better than big but useless/untargeted traffic.
Well; I'm joining the discussion a bit late; but I have a doubt regarding submitting an article to several directories at the same time. Is it okay to submit the same article to say; 25 directories? Will it not be considered duplicate content by Google? Could you guys explain?
This is more or less what confuses me aswell. I'm after traffic over seo. Is multiple article submission bad for just seo?
Google will most likely penalise you for duplicate content. It is better to use rewriting service and submit different articles to different directories. This is better for SEO and Traffic.
But when just talking about traffic and not seo, for example, if I were to write 25 articles each and every day, then submit them to 25 article directories (not one each), what would the traffic benefits be like? Or is the majority of traffic from article marketing recieved by search engines?
And if, IF one is lucky enough to even land on page one, how many would ACTUALLY click on him? I would think that it is better to be read by hundreds, perhaps, PERHAPS thousands everyday, rather than dozens. And of those clicks from search engines, how many are from bots? And then think of all the time you have to put in having to change the articles around, and checking to make sure that it is indeed changed enough before sending them off. On top of that, practically all, NOT ALL, legitimate clicks from search engines from real people are window shoppers, and moochers looking for free stuff, when a well-worded ad and or submited article can weed a lot of them out. But different strokes for different folks. Oops, sorry for the hyjacking. I'll shut the fuck up now.
As far as I have heard, no. I think that Google and the other major SE's are intelligent enough to know what sites are article directories, and which ones aren't. I doubt that they will punish those that submit to multiple article directories. Actually there have been multiple other threads about this subject. Kyle
No Perry, the recent posts I've seen from you are gold - please proceed further with your thoughts. I understand your theory mostly, are you basically saying that multiple article submission isn't that bad? Also, thanks to everyone so far for placing their input.
