I dont no if this is the right place but i think this is the best fit... How do you earn traffic to your site? I dont earn much traffic.... i have about 8-10 visits per day the highest traffic i got was 29 and 22 visits
The common wisdom on traffic generation is linking, linking, linking. Links to your site(s) being regarded by most search engines as a vote for your site. The more votes, the better your position in search engine results. This is a long, tough road to travel. Dropping links wherever and whenever you can --and I mean EVERYWHERE-- is the fastest way to get eyeballs on your pages. Cheers, Karl www.trading-signals.info www.fastercats.com
My 3 most successful tactics were #1 I run a this engine tech site so i got on 2 of the biggest established forums for the car that had the same engine. After developing 600-1,000 posts on both forums actually contributing to the forum and not just trolling, people started seeing my signature link and posting it for me. So now they all know about the articles & guides my site offers and pass around my link for me to help other people. #2 I exchanged links with the forums if possible and every other car site that had to do with the same engine. #3 I found the wiki technical article for the engine and i added a link to my technical articles which receives 500 uniques a month. My best advise for you is to create or use your myspace page and add these games to people comments with a backlink to your site. The problem with this is the games will get passed and your bandwidth be used but not much traffic to your site. If your serious you need to emblem your links into the flash games. Try to exchange links with site that have people with that are bored like at study room in a school or library or something.
Great content. I do O.K, and I have not been the best at building links.(right now sitting on a PR 4) I actually tend to not ask related sites for links, because of how they treated me in the beginning. Not too smart, but, I have managed to out rank them for a lot of terms, keywords, and long tails. Now they know who I am, but for as few related sites as there are, it is very competitive, and they still won't give me the time of day, so I just keep on trying to beat them in the SERPs.
