Can we get Traffic without backlinks?

I want to know that can we get traffic from the search engines like Google and Yahoo without the backlinks.

You need a good size site that people link to or post about and it can get listed and do well. You should try to get some links in directories to help site no matter what

Sure. If your web site receives high rank on opular keywords, web surfers will find it and will come to your pages. But to get high rank you need to have popular web site, appreciated by consumers.

So forget about search engine traffic.

You will have to spend all your budget on AdWords

 

You can get some traffic if it is indexed. But Not much you got to get some kinda back links to get any real signafant traffic.
Submitt to directorys use forum sigs anything but dont waste your site away buy not getting any links at all.

 

Also some autospam bots may visit your site, copy its contant and link it back Its 'free'

backlinks is how search engines judge if your site is any good. Google doesn't like sending hits to crappy sites. Besdies, back link building is the corner stone of any successful website. That's like asking if you can drive a car with no gas.

 

Hmm...more relevent domain name, title and meta description can get you above your competition but you will still need backlinks

 

Does using a link service help at all? (and I don't mean a free service to fill you up with all junk links either, I know they need to be rated well for any kind of recognition).

It depends on what industry you're in. You will need a couple backlinks to get indexed into Google. Once you have just a few, if you use search engine friendly urls, unique title tags for each page, meta tags, and a good amount of content you can get some nice traffic. You can rank for long tail keyword phrases and really niche industry terms without much link building at all. If you have a good business model or a revenue generating website, you might get a taste of success and then do the needed work to build quality backlinks. Good luck.

you are trying to get ranked high on SE so that you get free traffic. it NO possible without backlinks as only way you get your site indexed frequently is based on backlinks, your site PR is dependant on backlinks, and your ranking is based on your backlinks as well.

so no backlinks = no PR, no ranking, and no traffic

 

With backlinks your site's pagerank could be increased and even with good traffic also.
