How do i get ranked top 10 for these keywords?

Hi i was wondering if the way to get ranked in the top 10 for these keywords
seo tutorials
seo tools
backlinks
search engine optimization

Would be to write keyword rich content would that be the main way of doing it?

You better know SEO, you might wana start with something easier because you will never rank for those with out years of experience and good tactics.

Those phrases are highly competitive, and it will be difficult to be listed even on top 50.
IMO you should focus on another phrases less competitve.

 

oh the irony...
you need a lot of your no 3 keyword....

 

I realise they are going to be hard but i like the challenge, i am learning SEO and i am ranked 227 at the moment for seo tutorials!! wooo

But i just thought i d see what other people thought, i am going for other keywords but i know how to get ranked for them as i am going for phrases which is much easier.

It isn't about having high aims, its about you, running a site about SEO a subject you know nothing about.

I like the fact you have straight away made the assumption i know nothing about SEO.

I do know stuff about SEO, or else i would not build a website based on it.
I felt my knowledge on SEO was lacking a lot, so thats why i am building a website on it, to educate myself in this area.

All i want is for people to give me advice on how to rank for keywords, just to see if anyone can give me other options or advice that i have never thought about. Not for people to tell me that the keywords i have displayed are very competitive e.t.c

I know that already, and i know its near impossible for me to at this stage even compete with the likes of seochat and webconfs. However even if through the advice that i was assuming people would give me here my rank was to only go up to 220 for seo tutorials its a good positive move.
