Arcades? In that case, just do not hope much out of it. Arcades are popular for its low CPC.

    Hi ross,

a Smaller arcade site will have a better CTR and that will increase the CPM of adsense.
I dropped adsense on my website as i was only earning $400 a month from them but once i chnaged to more CPM ads I double my reuvue.

    Thanks Anthony

Google is always better for smaller sites with ctr better than 2%

think about value click and cpx

I agree with the people above
arcade game sites have low CPC
so you are usually expected to make some money with lots of traffic

Weasel what networks are you using for your CPM ?

I have an arcade, and unless you can find really targeted people to come and stay at your website, then you will be competing with larger sites like miniclip and addictinggames. Arcades (well mine anyway) have a pretty nice CTR - 2.28% (One of my ad spots actually has an 8.92%, but 2 other spots bring it down each being less then 0.5%). The best spot for ads is on the page for "Game Loading" put a 300x250 Google Adsense Ad, and then a nice paying 728x90 Banner CPM Ad in the top right corner of every page, and 2 468x60 nice paying CPM Ads on the top and bottom on every game. Adsense has it's weaknesses. I'm actually getting screw because my $/Click is like $0.29, and it could be easily $0.50 if the none performing ads were there in the first place. Writing out this post has made me realize waht I've been doing wrong the whole time!

I'm using MorningFalls.com for my CPM, are they good? Does anyone else use them?

    It's a low paying niche

But any site with traffic can make money ... so concentrate on traffic and the money will come

Some numbers... my arcade is making $30 a day with 5k unique visitors, all coming from google. CTR is 3,3~% and I'm just using adsense for revenue.

using cpm companies is better for these type of sites
because you will have a large number of pageviews

I had used MorningFalls in my site. Their CPM is as low as $.08 . I have 5000 pageviews daily. So I used to get $.40 from MorningFalls daily.

I am still looking for a good cpm network. Any suggestion?

    You're talking about flash games?

Just make sure they are all flash games created by you or you have permissions to host all the games. Google will ban you for copyright infringement if you don't.
