Review Request For New UFO & Alien Site

Hello everyone,

I am working on a new site that deals with aliens and UFOs

I am hoping that some of you have a little time to check it out and give me some feedback about how it is shaping up so far. Comments and criticsim welcome on all aspects of the site.

You have a problem by the header with some text over text

 

You must have been looking at it with FireFox. I just discovered that this morning and corrected it. It didnt do that in IE.

Nice looking site. One suggestions, I would put the side bar and ads on the right side. I have always been told that when the search bots visit your site they scan from the left to right and the stuff on the left should be your most important content.

I am not sure if this is true but I have always done it and it seems to help with SEO.

If promote this site good this niche can be very popular. Good luck!

well,i think that you should change your adsense text links to the same color of the links in you page,and i think that the logo should be bigger..just my 2 cents

 

I changed the ad color, but I dont know about making the header graphics bigger. I may consider that later. Thanks for your suggestions

maybe add a H1 tag

#1 - this is a new site, it doesnt have any real traffic yet

#2 - How the ads look are VERY IMPORTANT in relation to how much you earn.

 

Very nice looking UFO site. I like the placement of the ads. I would like to see more categories and perhaps some persisitent navigations at the top

You say very bad with no explanation of why. Second you say that it is nothing more than Google ads which is an outright lie.

However I do appreciate your letting me know about the resizing problem

Thanks for the offer, but I already have a writer working with me on this site. We are adding new content to it fairly often.

 

1) The domain - Very memorable and creep sounding, great for word of mouth.

2) The logo - Excellently blends in with the site.

3) The ads - placed perfectly in correct places.

4) The writing - Informative and professionally written, understandable for all audiences.

5) Amount of content - Enough to keep me busy for an hour.

6) Content - Rare and hard to find, excellent for word of mouth, mostly all stories on site have never been heard of by a few people I have asked.
