If G-d exists, I think all of us should go to heaven. If it is true that G-d exists and created us, he made us to be imperfect. If you make a house with no glass in the windows, how can you complain about the draft? It would be imperfect and unethical of G-d to reject any of us.

We are imperfect, due to the sin of Adam and Eve imputed upon us, you are correct. God is a holy God and nothing imperfect can go to Heaven. So you may ask, "Then how can we, as imperfect humans, who fall and sin, get to a holy place and be in Heaven with a holy God"? Good question, the Bible makes it clear that we, as humans, need a perfect Savior to have faith in, and it's by Jesus that will allow God to LOOK upon us (on earth now) as perfect and Holy (Hebrews 10:10 - 12). Jesus is the only way, he is the way, the truth and life, noone goes to Heaven except going through Jesus. Jesus makes the way for us imperfect humans to be reconciled to God. There has to be a heart felt change and a supernatural work in your heart, a repentant life with fruit bearing the life of a repentant person, a person who lives life continually repenting, who hates the thing God hates and loves the things God loves. Not living of the world, but living for the things from above. Salvation is only attained through faith in Jesus. He spent six hours on a cross for the world, for God so loved the world that he gave Jesus to us all, that who ever believes in Jesus will have eternal life and never perish. Jesus did not come into the world to condemn it, but to save it through Him. It's not about religion, the most religous country in the world is India, and without Jesus, their religion won't save them. Religion is a bunch of codes of conduct, regulations that were made by man, Jesus gives us freedom, and the one the Son sets free, is free indeed. Good luck working out your salvation, it is eternity we are talking about, it is serious.

I agree 99.95% we have to remember to love God is to obey God, there are many commands of Christ that we are to obey, so though we are free to follow Jesus, we still must keep his law, and obey his commands.

Christianity is very much about doing as you are told or being punished. That kind of blackmail stopped working on me when i reached 12. it's just a shame that so many adults these days feel so worthless and inadequate without parental guidance that they have to create this invisible sky daddy and imagine a bunch of rules that he demands that you follow. It relies on people who are afraid to take the chance, Even thought their own brain must be screaming at them telling them it's not true.

You are lucky to be alive. All of the things that had to happen in order for that sperm to meet that egg and eventually create you is astronomical. And now you are going to waste that life in a pathetic self induced delusion. If i gave a shit i could say i feel sorry for you, But hey, it's your life, Waste in what ever way and with whatever delusion you see fit.

If god did exist and see fit to send Hitler to heaven because he believed in jesus and me to hell because i didn't massage his ego then that god isn't worthy of being created in mans image.

Some religions have pleasant gods. Gods that don't punish. Gods that are understanding. Why is the christian god such a petty vindictive asshole?

Hitler decided to kill people, we all have a free will, including you. If you desire to call a God, who loved you so much to send His own Son to die for YOU, vindicative, then that is your choice. But if God was truly vindicative, He would blow us all away with a nostril breath if He wanted to, He loves us, get over satan's ploy to keep you miserable, what you say is straight from satan and you are brainwashed into believing it. God is truth and Jesus is freedom.

I wasn't calling in to question Hitlers free will. I was calling in to question that fact that he, as someone who believed in jesus, gets in to heaven. But i don't. If you are going to attempt to refute what i am saying at least have the decency to read it.

this god of yours is insane. he is a complete psychopath. He is an abusive father. He rewards genocidal maniacs with heaven and punishes decent people for simply not believing in him. Not only do i believe that god doesn't exist, I am glad he doesn't. Like Christopher hitchens said, It is a celestial dictatorship, At least in north korea you get to die and escape it.

You think Hitler is in Heaven? Are you kidding me? Do you believe what Christopher Hitchens says? Again, are you kidding me?

    Read or watch these please:
    http://www.opednews.com/wade_070404_hitchens.htm

    http://richarddawkins.net/article,1...gs-College-Christopher-Hitchens-Dinesh-DSouza

    http://atheismexposed.tripod.com/

And especially read this please: http://www.antiwar.com/justin/?articleid=2824

You will find the following: Hitchens cuts a pathetic figure these days, dazzling the ditto-heads with showy displays of half-assed erudition. I especially like this sentence from his recent Slate column:

"If any young scholar were now possessed of equivalent daring, a biography of the protean, scintillating revolutionary and Cold War sage Max Schachtman [sic] could be an intellectual Rosetta stone for the story of mental and moral combat in the modern American mind."

If such a scholar were to depend on Hitchens, he would have to learn, first of all, how to spell Max Shachtman's name correctly. Otherwise, I agree that Shachtmanism is the "bridge" between the "Old Man" and his present-day epigones. So how, as Hitchens avers, is this "kinship" between Trotskyism and what is known as neoconservatism "merely an anecdotal or autobiographical one"?

Of course hitler is in heaven (well, would be if it existed). He believed in jesus and he even compared his own fight to jesus' fight against "jewish poison". Hitler was a christian.

if you ever feel inclined to form your own opinion on christopher hitchens and refute something he says in your own words i'll be happy to listen, But i have no interest in watching you paste quotes which you don't understand from people who have an axe to grind against the man.

I guess when thinking for yourself isn't one of your strong points quote mining is the obvious way to dishonestly make your point. Or rather, Have someone else make it for you.

Hitler is not in Heaven, and was no Christian, because he believed in Jesus? All the muslims believe in Jesus, they say He is a prophet in their religion, will that make all muslims Christians? Just because someone talked about Jesus doesn't make them a Christian. Jim Jones preached about Jesus, but does that make him a Christian, let alone having a place in Heaven? The Bible says even the demons know and believe in Jesus, and tremble, but does that make them Christians? Hitler's actions and words did not bare any Christian fruit, NONE. Jesus said a fruit tree cannot produce thorns and a thorn tree cannot bare fruit. That is a ridiculous thought on your part. As far as my opinion on Hitchens, then you will listen, fine. My opinion is that he is a misguided and lost soul, which is a tragedy in itself. He is arrogant with his theories and thoughts about God, Who created every cell in Hitchens body and knows the number of hairs he has on his head. I think he should put down the bottle, research Jesus and by faith, come to know Him as Savior, which He is, rather than something that he dissuades in his own mind, and tries to get other people to buy into his lies. I saw him get pounded in a debate recently, and when confronted, he twisted his speech to something different than what was being debated, something like you have tried to do here. He defends his illogical opinions with nothing other than smoke and mirrors. Question for you. How can you, or Hitchens, try to dissuade anyone into believing that there is no God Almighty, or Creator? How pompous or arrogant, I am not kidding, how can a created person doubt the creator? I don't get it. There was a recent study done by a east coast Ivy League school, I believe, and it was found that people have a desire and yearning for two things in their life, 1.) A relationship with people, and 2.) A relationship with a Creator. It is my opinion that when these two things are not met, there will be much discourse, unhappiness and dark cloud over that person's heart, that they will be miserable and ever searching for these two things. Only God fills one half of the equation, I pray you will find Him. Jesus is the only way to find Him.

The real question is no "what does it take" but "Who go to heaven and why?"

We know in John 14:1-3 Jesus talks about "preparing a place for you". Who was he speaking to? The apostles of course. But other verses talk about "being in heaven with him" such as Phil 3:20-21, Rom 6:5 and 2 Cor 5:1-2. Does this mean ALL will go to heaven and be with him? No. Other verses need to be looked at.

Let's look at David (King David). Acts 2:29 and verse 34 says David did not ascend to heaven. Hmmm..if he did not ascend to heaven then what about Job? Surely someone as upright as he would? Read Job 14:13-15. Hmmmmm. OK..What about the New Testament. Surely, righteous ones would be going to heaven. Let's say John the Baptist! He baptised Jesus. Surely he deserves a place in heaven? Jesus even spoke of him when he said "A person that is a lesser one in the kingdom of the heavens is greater than he is" in Matthew 11:11. But what did he say in John 3:13? "No man has ascended into heaven but he that descended from heaven, the Son of man". This means Jesus was referring to for the past 4,000 years no one has gone to heaven. Interesting huh?

So, the next question is "Who is going to heaven then?" Well, Jesus of course because we all know what the Bible says about him ascending to heaven. But, let's read Daniel 7:13-14 "I kept on beholding in the visions of the night, and, see there! with the clouds of the heavens someone like a son of man happened to be coming; and to the Ancient of Days he gained access, and they brought him up close even before that One. And to him there were given rulership and dignity and kingdom, that the peoples, national groups and languages should all serve even him. His rulership is an indefinitely lasting rulership that will not pass away, and his kingdom one that will not be brought to ruin"

Here we can see that Jesus is King of the Kingdom. An everlasting Kingdom. In fact, Daniel 2:44 speaks about this kingdom replacing all other kingdoms and lasting to "times indefinite". But here is something more interesting in Matthew 6:9-10 where Jesus speaks about praying for the Kingdom to come. In other words, we would be wanting to be praying for this Kingdom to replace all of the kingdoms on the earth. So this Kingdom that we are praying for is our new government, so to speak. Governments have ministers right? Are these spoken about in the Bible? Yes. In Revelation 20:6 It says "Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him for the thousand years" and Revelation 5:10 says "and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth". What? Kings over the earth? Yes! This means there will be subjects of this Kingdom right here on earth that these ones will be ruling over.

Does this fit in with the rest of the Bible? Are there scriptures to back this idea up? Yes! Read Psalm 37:10 says "And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be". The Kingdom will be doing this, removing the wicked. But wait! Read the next verse "But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace". There's the subjects of the Kingdom.

You see, by studying an analysing the Bible, it ends the confusion of who we are, why we are, where we are and where are we going? There is a lot more to learn and to be honest, there is always something more to learn. I know people who have continually studying the Bible for 50+ years and even them have said lately "I've read that scripture probably 10 thousand times in my life but I never knew it from that angle."

You are saying that nothing imperfect can go to heaven. Loving Jesus does not make people perfect. So how will they get into heaven if they are not perfect? Will G-d accept all these imperfect people into heaven because they accept Jesus? No wait, you already said, "nothing imperfect can go to heaven." The implication is that G-d will somehow make them perfect to be accepted into heaven. G-d will make 33% of his children perfect to be accepted into heaven but plans on burning the rest? NO. That means that G-d is imperfect.

Let us assume that G-d exists and is an all powerful force of love...
All of his children would go to heaven. He would not leave a single one behind. This includes muslims, jews, christian, hindus, atheist...everyone! All people and animals. He would fill hitler with so much love, he would not be the same person. He would remove all of our earthly defects and peace and love would reign supreme. That is the kind of G-d I would worship. I could not worship your version of a G-d that rejects his children and makes heaven an exclusive club. If your version is true, the majority of humans are more loving than G-d.

We are imperfect, but like the Bible says, God looks upon us as perfect after and when we have and will accept by faith, His redemptive plan of salvation, by sending His Son for us, which He did 2,000 years ago. Now, the ball is in your court, do you want to argue with your Creator? Or do you want to accept His plan of mercy and grace, even though I nor you deserve it? It is your choice.

Your version is not a plan of mercy and grace. It portrays G-d to be extremely violent and unstable. What about a devout Muslim who prays 5 times a day and believes in G-d? What about the Jewish people? What about the peaceful buddhist people? What about someone who just doesn't believe, and would rather not pretend? Your G-d plans on burning them all in hell. That may sound ok to you, but it sounds evil to me.

i think religion is important for a healthy society... not only because make many people think twice before doing something, without religion our "high civilization" can easily become a "crime civilization" or worst, many people i think don't lie, steal or kill because of this , the subject is too complex for my poor english....

Religion is made from high feelings not any books ... the result is always most important

I think God is always around, you maybe won't believe but i do just because i feel it in everything...

Another world ? exist, is again just my opinion, sometimes i saw true things in my dreams about the future...

Last thing to remember... if the king of darkness exist then God too... if you saw a poltergeist phenomenon ... voodoo... then think more...about the essence of the world

Those things you are saying God will do is not a Bible teaching. They are man's teachings. In regards to Muslims, Jews and Buddhists, they are individual people just like you and I. All imperfect humans trying to live our lives the best way we can. Here's the difference between mainstream Christianity and real Christianity. Mainstream Christianity judges people in other religions and puts them in their place and make statements like "You will burn in Hell for not facing your God, or our God." Real Christians have no right to judge other people because we, as imperfect humans, can in no way see what is in a person's heart. Only God can. James 4:8 says "Draw close to God and he will draw close to you." This really means if you earnestly pray to God for help and understanding, he will make it happen somehow. What each one does when the offer is presented to them with that information is solely up to them. Therefore, the judgment is with God and not humans. Since, he has the right to judge as the creator.

This is where the whole problem lies with belief in God for most. We try to act in God's behalf before finding out the truth about God and the truth about his will. Only then, will man (or woman) act the right way if he is armed and applies God's will. If not, it is detriment to his actions.

    Regards,

    Col :)
