Thompson tries to use all of Paul's talking points

    "Constitution"
    "Supply and Demand"
    "Inflation"
    "Nuclear Energy"

and a whole lot more, he said basically everything Paul was to say right before he said it. too bad his platform contradicts himself, i can't believe i ever supported that @sshole.

Thompson has some good stuff in his platform, my major issues with him are the war, he looks like a cadaver, we already had a slow talking President, and his history of being a professional lobbyist.

Plus that fact that he is in bed with several commercial interests.

All told, his platform on it's own is not that repugnant, but he's not a guy you feel will actually be leading, more like Bush, a front man for whoever he surrounds himself with.

yea he's partially right about most things except the war. plus he's ignorant like all the rest.

he oughtta go back to being an actor instead of trying to act like he might have the presiding voice over Paul's issues. I also used to have respect for Romney until tonight, he's also a scumbag as well as textbook definition neocon. i love it when they smile at what Ron Paul has to say as if they're giving time for a nutjob to make his case.. as if they are some super intelligent being when in fact they do nut understand politics, the economy, american history or basic common sense.

like Ron Paul said after Thompson's "well i'm trying to understand.."

    "keep tryin'."

I hope Fred drops out after NH. We can pick up a lot of his votes in the South. His base are the states' righters, confederates, 2nd Amendment and pro life folks, which are strong demographics for Paul.

that's true, for some reason i hadn't thought of that. i was hoping he'd stay in for the whole race to maintain the diluted neocon vote. and i do believe he will stay in it for a good while still.

Well, he's gunna release a fractured vote. It's going to go to all of the candidates, but I like our chances of picking up a lot of his group that is not focused on the war as their highest priority.

that's true too but there are very narrow-minded people like my uncle who think the war and foreign policy are the only issue. ofcourse it is actually the economy that dictates foreign policy, if we keep up the empire status and continue the domestic policy we'll be in a depression soon with invaders at our heels.

when i supported fred and before i changed my views, the economy was really the number 1 issue. terrorism is important but i knew the way it was being handled was completely illogical.

most people just don't get it. they think getting out of Iraq is a liberal move, when infact staying there is. he's garnered a lot of the hardcore neocons who've been brainwashed into thinking a semi-conservative economy and bill clinton foreign policy is conservative?

well my uncle supports him and he fits the bill of what i just said. he told me ron paul seemed to be the most conservative on everything except the war and that's what dictates his candidate.

Your uncle needs to wake up and smell the coffee though. An Anti-war candidate is going to win the election. No one is going to elect Giuliani, Romney, McCain or Thompson.

If your Uncle has a computer, let me know. I might have some stuff you can share with him.

thanks, i don't think he does. he is the most narrow minded person i've ever encountered. at every family get together he tries to start a fight with my other uncle who's a moderate (whom i told Ron Paul about btw ;))

i went at it with him for a little bit the other day, but he just tries to pull an O'reilly and lean over and raise his voice. but i pulled a couple of questions on him that really showed what a nutjob he was to everybody. he believes women should not have the right to vote, etc. said this right before he said he was proud of himself for being smarter than everybody else lol.

there's no use with people like that. i have a friend that is also like that, just gets mad when i bring up Ron Paul. they're just miserable people who will never understand.

The good thing is, you are young, the next generation, and you are a self aware man, capable of critical thinking and rational judgment.

You're going to be an asset all of your life, to your country, family and community because you have an inquisitive mind.

Ron Paul doesn't own a monopoly on issues. How absurd!

OMG, Ron Paul said he is a Christian, (though he acts like he's ashamed of it!). He's stealing Huckabee's platform!

Some of the posts I read here are a constant reminder that investing in pharmaceuticals as a long term strategy, would be very profitable.

that's right buddy you just proved how weak your own candidate is, his only issue that hypes people is the fact that he's an "outspoken Christian"!

"alright! finally a devout Christian president! let's all storm the white house and celebrate the fact that he's Christian! woo! +1 for Christianity!!..

so uh, what exactly is he gonna do now?"

what is Huck's selling point? how's he better than the rest of his crew?

and yes you oughtta invest in pharma Gtech, if people like yourself continue to proliferate.

thanks bro. the problem my generation has is the task of actually thinking. i'm sure once they got around to it, people could have very intelligent ideas that could help the world. but it has become far greater to watch someone else's measly life on MTV.

I was wondering how GTech is able to go through life with a perpetual hard-on.

Just being honest. Smart people survive, even under adverse circumstances. The original American revolution was started by a small group of people, who set grassfires of freedom and liberty in the minds of men. One man can make a difference, Ron Paul is an excellent example of a single man, mostly on his own, influencing the debate not just domestically, but also abroad, about the concepts of personal liberty and economic freedom.

I read on RPF today that Ron Paul is the most talked about candidate in Germany. We already know he is one of the most talked about candidates in the UK and Canada. It's amazing.

So never feel that you can't make an impact. It takes a few people doing a few good and sound things to make the world a better place.

that's true. even if ron paul loses the election, he won by making an undying impression across America. he's redefined my views on politics completely and i plan on using them later on when i'm ready for that political adventure.

AGS, you mean the guy that smilingly shook the hand of gtechs favorite guy in the 1980's? Who was that again?
Oh yea saddam hussein while he was out doing some yardwork and casually gassing ten thousand kurds.
