Just curious, because from tutorials and videos i've noticed some people have quite a few.... I was just wondering if there was a reason for it? Why not let all your sales generate into one account?
Because unless you have a customized script, you can only designate one page that your hoplink points to per account. If you wanted to set up multiple products and with separate affiliate programs for each, you would need separate accounts. Again, thats if you don't have a custom script.
just for clarity, wholesalegamer is referring to the need for multiple accounts if you have multiple products as a publisher. However, you can have as many products as you wish under an account as an affiliate.
So let's say I've been an affiliate under my ClickBank account and now I want to publish a product I've made. I can still publish a product on that CB account but only one published product per CB account? Thank's for all the clarification.
Correct. When you are a publisher, you only get ONE landing page per account. So, many publishers with multiple products will setup a different account for each product, so that the affiliates will be able to direct traffic to the proper landing pages. There are some redirect script out there that manage multiple products for one publisger, and they do a redirect of the traffic to send to the proper landing pages.
You can have as many affiliate and publisher accounts as you want. Although a publisher can sell 'only' 500 products per account. https://www.clickbank.com/publisher_faq.html#pub_question_7
Also...I should point out that Clickbank charges you the setup fee for each account...so that means that they make more money by having this "limitation". If you can use a script to redirect, it will save you some money...but I am not sure which method is the best. Any input from more experienced folks? Redirect for multiple products VS Multiple CB account?
This is an old thread - but I'm wanting to figure out how I can set up multiple landing pages for my CB product. For example what Sit Stay Fetch does with their landing pages for different types of dog problems (like dog aggression) and different dog breeds (like Rottweiler) I'm also curious if it's possible to set up a landing page on a different domain? I'd love to set up a "pre-sell" landing page on a separate domain for affiliates. I'm assuming this isn't possible as I've never seen anyone do it and it seems like a brilliant idea
I have few accounts as an affiliate, the reason is simple, to avoid someone else knowing everything I do or the so called spying.I feel better when I have many accounts.
