I have always been a big fan of rally since i was a little kid and now after owning a e36 BMW 325IS i think i want to get a second fast weekend car. at first i wanted to buy the e46 BMW M3 but now when i think about it STI or EVO fits my bill better so i am stuck between these two...which one would YOU choose????
i love the suby...they are great cars...and with a little mods to the handeling they handel way better than EVOs but EVOs are good too...i LOVE the WRX horny exhaust noise
with the EVO you get what your paying for,,, subaru charges you money for nothing horny exhaust noise ???? have you even heard an EVO before
yeah my friend had one...it recently got stolen, like 3 weeks ago...now he is thinking about buying an STI...
It depends the evo is faster but the subaru comes in handy with its four wheel drive during the winter months if there is any snowfall.
You have no clue what you are talking about. Both cars are AWD. I personally would go with the Evo, the STIs tend to have cooling issues due to the micro sized intercooler in the middle of the hood. Also, there is just more room in the evo for upgrades.
Personally I prefer the evo but Im biased Have a look at the forum on http://www.lancerregister.com/ this type of question comes up on there every now and again.

If I had to buy one of them, it would be the Subie. The Evo is fkn nuts though. But, only accountants drive Subarus and Mitsubishis Personally, I'd but a Golf R32, or a Megane 225 AND a Pug 206 180 instead
Go for the Subaru, You will regret it if you dont, I am from devon in the UK and there are so many EVO's around, they really annoy me and they dont look very good!
Yeah I was born/grew in Manchester and i used to see a lot of EVOs...but subys...you can't find that many of them that's one of the reasons i want to get a suby
