Have my babies, you're too generous.

First of all, do you have any knowledge of India? Can you judge them as a whole? Of course not. Just because this guy worked for peanuts for you and then was pissed when you didn't give him even those peanuts, doesn't imply that indians are this or that. You could very well find an American 14y/o looking to get some extra cash by doing forum posting jobs and charging around that.

P.S. I'm not Indian, but the way you went off in this whole thread made me take their side.

Yes i know what goes on in india, You can ask any indian here yourself and they will tell you they get paid peanuts, doctors leave the country all the time to find better wages. And you just compared a 14 year old american boy making money the same way probably a grown indian man would try and make money on the net with forum posting.

Its not a lie or a hidden thing that indians don't get paid very much. You guys are acting as if Indians get paid as much money as we do and its not true at all. Hence why they work for peanuts. And because we are currently on top of the economic food chain who are paying a lot of these people to do our work its not generally good idea to go spouting off at your boss after your first day of work demanding you be paid instantly since he has the money.

He got paid he just had to be patient untill i logged on. Like i said, 75 cent payment isn't exactly the first thing i do when i hop on the computer. I was actually hoping he would do more than create a user name and post 2 times to get more money.

Your type of people gives Americans a bad name. Good luck outsourcing business, with this mentality I'm sure you're bound for great success.

I'm from Romania, but I happen to know some indians that earn a lot of money. It's not like it's their fault they have a less productive economy, or your merit that you're "top of the economic food chain". If anything, you're helping America rank lower in the economic food chain with this mentality.

Anyway, good luck in your business, but I really hope you can learn to respect your workers better, be it for their work worth 75 cents or several thousand dollars.

i don't think killafawk was trying to insult anyone or any race...he asked a simple question and some people went off thinking he is being rude or somthing...
it's funny for us that we live in countries with great economies...and some other people struggling to make money and live...
as for your question a doller is a lot in some countries...and probebly you can live for a day or even a week on a dolor with decent food...so that's why the guy was tripping off about his 75 cents...

and while we are on the subject...U.S economy is going down and some economiest are saying we should start saving money more...

I hope eventully every country gets a good, stable economy so we don't see people suffering everywhere in the world...one day

I'll just stop here :) Thanks for the discussion and again, good luck!

Edit: I'd just like to add that living in a country with a good economy doesn't automatically make you rich. Nor does living in a country with poor economy automatically make you poor. There are plenty of poor people in America as there are plenty of rich people in India, so generalizing the "75 cents problem" to an entire country is not very fair.

What if the guy was from China ??
Do you know how much it could have mean to him ??

Coming to the topics, check out the % of the geeks working in NASA, MICROSOFT & all other . You will be astonished to see the percentage of Indians working & it is because of these Asian countries that U.S topped in different field else you would have been next to countries like Japan.

I know mate you might not have thought of so much while typing down those few lines in the OP

But let me tell you, by just naming Indian without even knowing whether he was an Indian was not justified, that is nothing but preconceived notion, it will not help you, as you will find it more difficult to deal with Indians

    I beg to differ..

I will never move out of India - coz the Pay is not Higher as you say - it seems to be higher

My point is Dollar value dosen't matter .. what can you buy with that 0.75 in US? i can buy 4 pieces of Marlboro cigarettes here for that money.. i guess its the same there. its PPP.

so wouldn't it be better if you stayed in india and worked online and got paid with the dollar? It would convert higher for you correct?

say you make like 500$ american and it converts to like 20,000 rupees right? well thats a lot of money over there it seems since 75 cents can buy you a small meal. I'd move to india myself if i could get conversions like that.

India is the world's second largest software maker after US

Indian company Hero Honda is the world's largest Bike maker

World's largest steel maker company Areclor-Mittal is owned by an Indian Lakshi mittal who is third richest in the world

India's UB group is world's largest liquor maker, and have acquired around 70% liquor companies in the world

Indian company TATA is about to acquire british car brands Landrover and Jaguar from Ford.

i can go on and on............

but i think this is enough to give you an idea of Indian economy.

India is a nation where a catholic lady left the post of PM for a sikh man to become PM whereas 70% of Indian population is Hindu with a Muslim President
