I got a site with similar problem.

The CTR & traffic is good but the adsense in the niche is terrible. It is something I'm passionate about so I won't abandon the site just because of low adsense pay.

I'm going to introduce/sell a product in that niche.

I have got the right audience, I have got the traffic - I just need to sell them something related to my niche.

Most probably your niche is as low paying as mine. I believe the solution is to focus less on adsense and focus more on our own product

 

How did you get that amount of traffic?

 

I am getting around 500 uniques a day and am lucky to walk away with $2 per month.

widgetbucks says average is $2-3 peron 1k impressions... yea right, well over 20k impressions and just a few pennies to show for it.

 

Use the hotspots suggestions.

 

It's probably a low paying niche, with a site like that it's a good idea to trial some other programs, Pay Per Impression or Affiliate products to monetize it.

Some sites you just have to say Adsense is a bad option and move to other things instead of trying to squeeze a few cents out of it by tinkering with everything under the sun for months on end.

yeh whats your niche? Its so much dependant upon it.. although I sont get much traffic and much clicks.. but I get around 20-40 cents per click

 

Usualy how many clicks you ger if you have like 10% cr meaning like 200 clicks and you do 7$ is simply a lolw paying niche and the onlu way you have to get more traffic

 

2000 unique visitors, whats your CTR? if you have a very low CTR, then could be something to do with your ad placement or the ads are not blended in with your template/content. and if it is a good CTR and still you are making that much, then simply its a low paying niche. only way to tell for sure is by looking at your site. whats your URL?

7 DOllar per day on 2000 traffic I have same traffic I earn 1 dollar per day

 

ur proxy site footer is messed up with 100's of links with myspace keywords which is a low cpc keyword & ur other site is entertainment site which is again a low cpc

 

Place the awareness in combination with better, according to the colors of the site.

 

by the way, i have 25 active sites and i am getting around 100K Traffic / month but getting only 100$ to $150 per month
