how to transfer domain from dotster

    Hello,
    i have a domain register with dotster and i want to transfer it to namecheap. can u explain the procedure for that? and is there any fees for transfer the domain?

    Got to your control panel at Dotster and then to the page with your domain's details.
    - UnLock the domain
    - click on the "Request Transfer Authorization Code" link at the bottom of the page and they will email you your Auth Code.

    Go to NameCheap.com and initiate a transfer away from Dotster (you will need the Auth Code above)

    You will pay Namecheap $9.29 which will transfer in the domain and add 1 year to your registration. Dotster will not charge any fees.
