Forget huckabee... giuliani and the rest of those clowns... it is OFFICIAL...

George W. Bush is running for president in 2008!

How is this possible you say? What? But he's already served (awesomely) 2 terms!

Yah... but.. technically in the year 2000, Al Gore and his followers claim he wasn't elected... so this little loophole makes it all possible!

Woo hoo! 4 more years! 4 more years!

yea, I remember all of those rumors about Jeb running a few years back. But in reality I don't think it will happen and if it does there is no way he will win because his brother basically ruined it for him.

That's why you didnt see him in 2008, politics have very short memories, in 2012 no one will recall George W Bush and Iraq. I guess the Republicans have to lose in 2008, or poor Jeb have to wait till 2016!

lol, but the media never forgets and one thing that will surely pop up is how some people think he rigged the 2000 election in his brother's favor. That could definetely hurt him

This is where ron Paul stands on the issues. He wants to get rid of the Patriot Act, national ID card and believes Americans have the right to privacy.

Posting a link to Ron Paul's web site is NOT impressive... I want to hear why YOU are supporting him.

On another note... GEORGE W. BUSH ROCKS!

5 Hours to spare? If it takes you 5 hours to explain why you're supporting Ron Paul, you should be worried. But, let's start with the specifics of what you mentioned.

#1 - "He is the only candidate who ISN'T in the "backpocket" of any special interest group."

Ok... let's assume that he ISN'T that... but who cares. What IS he?

    Now, you're next point:

#2 - "He is the only one who brought up how we destroyed freedom for iran in the 1950's, he wants to go back to teh gold standard, federal reserve who?"

Huh? he destroyed freedom for iran in the 50's? Who cares about the 50's... what about NOW?

You've gotta do better than that, you Ron Paul "supporter" you....

C'mon... sell me on the idiot

So those are the only 3 reasons? Uh... I never received a national ID card. Am I missing out? Why are you libs so freaking paranoid? Worried someone will find your secret weed stash? lol...

Why do you feel as if your privacy has been invaded? Has it... or is it simply the "paranoia will destroy ya" phenomenon.

The big problem with your argument is you list a bunch of NEGATIVES.... what is something POSITIVE he will bring to the country. I know it is pretty much impossible... but try to quit finger pointing and let's put all the pressure on this loser known as Ron Paul. He is president... so... freaking what? What now? Does he have any ideas? Seriously...

You cant be serious????? Who cares about what we did to iran in the 50's????? Are you for real dude. Imagine if the shoe were on the other foot and iran were the super power and we (america) were a budding 3rd world country witha democratically elected leader who shows so much promise and would have made alot of changes in our country. A phd in finance, a common people person(came from a farming family) decent, didnt lie , and cared for his fellow americans. Now imagine iran wanted him to sell americas oil for pennies on the dollar. Our great american leader says no. Iran then starts plotting to take him out throughj illegal covert operations and helps to install a dictator in america. Would you be just a tad bit ticked off at iran right now and would u ever trust iran in the near future again.

Blogger i think this case is pretty closed, and can u please not give me a one line response lol like some of the neocons in here when they are stuck and proven wrong:D. This is getting way to easy lol.

The fact that it would take 5 hours to talk about ron pauls merits is a very good things which means he has lots of good merits.

I don't know why you guys are so concerned about iran.... I have a simple solution to all of those sand infested countries:

Eff em all. If you guys weren't so drunk I'd continue debating... but obviously someone left the liquor cabinet unlocked

Explains why you love Bush, I guess. Ron Paul has a lot of things that make me support him. For one, he votes based on the Constitution, not based on popular opinion or what he wants to do. If he feels the Constitution bars something, he'll vote against it, even if he agrees entirely with the premise. This is very respectable in my opinion.

He wants to end our foreign policy tirades. Unfortunately, the eff them all strategy won't work in this day and age of mutually assured destruction, so we don't have the nuke advantage anymore. His call for a return to sovereignty and out of entangling alliances is extremely wise, and honestly the only foreign policy we can afford to maintain at the moment.

Ron Paul is an expert of Austrian economics. He understands the issues with our monetary system today, and the danger of fiat currency, and has bold plans for a semi-gold standard to completely change around our system and abolish the Federal Reserve. No longer should the fate of the United States economy rest with private bankers in private vaults.

Ron wants to return our government to a sensible size. With more control only comes a loss of liberty, and Ron Paul doesn't just seek to slow the growth like other candidates, he's working to reverse it. This is something very few people in Washington have stepped up to do, and needs commendations.

These are just a few of the reasons I support Ron Paul for president.

I can't tell if the OP is just pulling our legs or hes actually serious. Pick wisely because if you pick wrong your gonna be carrying a paper over your head that says "idiot" on it.
