I want to set up some phpbay stores. I want to buy a hostgator shared hosting package* and I'm going to get a pack of domains from godaddy. I realize that phpbay stores etc rely heavily on search engine traffic. ALso since I'm a noob I thought this would be a good place to start to help me better understand SEO techniques. Here's the plan: buy hostgator shared* keyword-rich-domain-for-nice.mobi (or whatever) phpbay setup setup wordpress with a clean template and create some good unique content regarding my niche apply all in one SEO plugin and do any "by hand" SEO I can think of use subdomains with my keyword-rich....mobi for each category of my niche store, so instead of just regular links I'm gonna basically subdomain the hell out of every page of content with keywords (all as relevant as possible of course) like juicykeyword.keyword-rich...mobi and possibly juicykeyword1.juicykeword2.keyword-ric....mobi do some quick indexing techniques I gleaned off of the forum Lather, Rinse, Repeat My question is, I remember reading about being careful about linking to yourself on the same ip from different domains(a shared hosting setup) in regards to search engine ranking. Since these will rely heavily on search engine traffic, is there anything to worry about setting up a few different niche stores like this on the same hosting package with the subdomains as mentioned? The sites most likely wouldn't link to each other anyways, but should I make sure they don't? What is the risk with this plan in terms of getting dinged by search engines... Thanks *also if anyone has any hostgator rebate deals, feel free to shoot me a pm
anybody? I found some conflicting things around google regarding crosslinking to different domains on the same IP. Some said it was okay for different content and some not...
