Like what? Sue them and contribute the money to the DP members? If you've been scammed get a lawyer and sue.
Ahh!! My eyes! I've seen too much ____ is a scammer threads today. @WeedGrinch I don't think the admins can really help you out with this. Even if the guy gets banned from DP, you won't get your money back. I suggest opening a PayPal dispute (if you paid via PayPal), or as cormac said, get a lawyer. Though I think it's not worth getting a laywer if you just lost something like $5.
If he is proven to have scammed then a reasonable person would think so, yes. However, this is Digital Point and scamming doesn't necessarily constitute a breach of the rules - or, sadly, what has become almost acceptable around here.
Because most scammers don't break the rules. It doesn't say anything in the rules about "members mustn't be dishonest or steal from other members." Plus the mods don't want to get mixed up in an argument between members.
