Used the PR predictor from iwebtools toolbar. shows my proxy site as predicted PR 4. It's just barely over 2 weeks old. could this be right?

I have no trust in these prediction tools. Just continue link building process till the update happens.

While all those prediction tools are very inaccurate, it's still possible. On the last PR update, I had 3 sites less than a month old end up with PR 3 and one with PR4.

It will not be PR 4 as the tool predicted... You can ask Google if thats accurate...

PR prediction tool does not give accurate result and you may only know the exact page rank until Google PR update.

c'mon it's just a prediction tool so you don't have to take the results seriously.. just focus on your link building campaign and wait for the next PR update

I have no trust in the accuracy of those predicition tools - pair that with the fact that google page rank is essentially pointless, and you've got a good reason for forgetting about it all and spending your time on something more constructive ;)

these prediction tools are almost never accurate
and besides, PR is not that important anyway, the thing you should care about is your SERP

PR prediction tools predict the PR based on backlinks and their PR.
    is it 100% accurate? no.
is it possible that you get PR3 in the next update? very much.

if you have that many links in 2 weeks, if you keep building links at that speed, you can even get higher PR.

Iwebtool doesn't, it predicts them on backlink count only.

I'd be hesitant on that one, getting 400 backlinks a week is pushing it a bit. 25 a day, so around 150-200 a week at most, otherwise you're looking at Google penalties. And it's no bottom league defender taking the kick, either;)

there is no limit to the number of backlinks you can get a day. you can have a successfull site where hundreds of other sites are linking to you all the time. its not the quantity of links that matters, it is the consistancy which is to consider. link building campaign has to look natural and not artificial. google understands that if a site starts gaining popularity, it will get increasing number of backlinks over time. so if someone is consistant in link building, he/she can create as many back links per week ad needed but need to keep up with the pace so that it doesn;t look spammy. you cannot have 200 links this week and nothing next week, that doesn;t sound natural.

    Prediction tools are CRAP

Concentrate on real things like Traffic and PR

That has no logical explanation whatsoever. Okay, so you sit there, building 500 backlinks a week, then all of a sudden, your server crashes. So you're trying to fix the server instead of building links that week, and you don't gain any links. Google's automatically going to go "f... me, he's cheating the system. banned!" I think not. 99% of SEO 'Experts' I've spoken to in the last year has confirmed getting too many links in a short period of time will get you banned, but to keep on the '20 a day' bandwagon, that way your site will - slowly - gain SERP results.

No one knows Google Algorithm, the predictions is just a fun game, wait for the next PR update and you can start laughing.
