Please don't list dmoz, google or yahoo. Now onto the point of my posting Do you know of any unique online directories? If yes, please post a list. What makes them unique? What are their strong and weak points? If you could add one feature to a directory- what would that be?
Hmmm, cant think of one thats superbly unique yet, im not going to tell you what feature i could add because you would steal it.
www.iguides.org - has a great forum www.directorydump.com - the owner used his excellent programming skills to develop the directory in many ways - mods etc www.alivedirectory.com - any other directories have this much power? www.dirjournal.com - content + design rule the school here
I Like DirJornal, Gii.in and Iguides for the amazing content that these directories have and also the way they are organized.

I forget to mention www.zyas.com. Just remembered after Dan posted. Thats another directory with something unique - as each submission gets its own video.
Wow, www.zyas.com is a pretty nice directory - blog, really nice pictures, videos, a 'lucky 7' page to boost pageviews (lol), top 50 traffic directories, etc. Really nice, never heard of them before.
It is for me UK One Way Directory - unique because it uses NO script that any other directory uses! .
My favorite design for a directory is mine of course. Second place I will have to keep to myself so I don't offend anyone.
That's stupid.Thinking same way I should say: My wife is the preetiest of all wives as nobody uses her apart of me (or I don't know about it) Apart of it: the site is very plain, no features at all, links only.... When we're talkin about design or nice features - let's talk of it, not about script, domain name or domain value.
there must be some script or custom made ? I like directorydump.com for its uniqueness and lots of features.
