Hey, I'm looking for cheap proxy hosting with good uptime..

And I wonder which host you're using, and if it's good or not..

    Thanks,
    Amund

well, there are many proxy hosting out there, but you have to watch out.

Make sure you dont just fall for the unbelievable deals for low prices.
    And you'll be fine.

    Good Luck

i can't imagine any host being really good if they offer proxies and other resource draining type sites on shared servers. I recommend to you a VPS. It will cost more but will give you more flexability, control and stability with your site. Let me know if I can help you out. Regards,

    Now it works:)

But it's lame if you got to go through a proxy to access another proxy:(

I guess it worked for you without having to use a proxy.. (I hate Firefox:mad:)

EDIT: Tried 10minuets later without proxy and it worked!

actually it worked for me in Opera and FF

must be your firewall (some firewalls start to literally block an ip/site until you put the site under allowed list)
    or
if you use like aol or some isp, their ip could temp blocked by the server.

The site works perfectly fine for me to :p

Thank you Dancom for your nice comment :) And to the other who posted, we run proxy hosting on seperate servers! We dont mix proxys with shared and resellers, a server is hosting stricly proxys and proxys only!

One of the reasons that we use DirectAdmin instead of cPanel on the proxy server is because cPanel takes more resources and RAM, if it was up to me i would use lxadmin as that uses like 20mb :p But, lxadmin is not directly easy to use, and we try to provide the best hosting but at the same time the most flexible and easy to use systems so clients can get more out of their time with us :)

    Thanks,
    Freddy

All my proxies are hosted with this guy.

He knows how to host and how to communicate with his clients. 100% up time so far and no hassles at all.

If you wanted a recommendation. Then the link in this post is what you are looking for.

    Regards
    DK
