i think there might be some problem with the bank with which you have deposited your check. or your check may have got expired or some other.. you should wait at least 3 or 4 days for clickbank to respond
It has been 9 days and still no reply from ClickBank. If anyone has dealt with their customer support in the past and has a phone number where I can speak to live person can you please PM it to me? I would be much obliged. I've just received my next paycheck and would really like to resolve the situation before I take it to the bank.
everytime i get no answer from them after a weeek. i always send a new email with a different email address for the "reply to". try to email them once again.
I actually found a phone number on the internet and just gave them a call. It's a technical glitch on their side and they are aware of it. Looks like I wasn't the only one affected. So don't spend your paychecks all at once I'll update this thread once the issue is completely resolved.
9. Why haven't I received my check? ClickBank will withhold the first check to be issued from your account until the payable balance contains sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers, including at least one Visa card, and one MasterCard in order to be eligible to receive a check. PayPal and e-check purchases do not count toward the minimum. It is also required that the check balance reaches the Payment Threshold amount you have chosen in your account. The default Payment Threshold is set to $100, however you can change the Payment Threshold in your account at any time. What excatly does that mean, I have a balance of 13.00, and my thresold is 10.00... It's my first sale ever, so I guess i'm not gettin my check?
You wont get your check until you have 5 sales then, one which needs to be by Visa Credit Card, and one that needs to be by Master Card Credit Card. Once you might those requirements, you'll receive your first check
That is pretty dumb considering an affiliate has no control over what type of credit card a buyer uses! I'll be going through the same thing then...just started with CB and made 2 sales the other day...guess I gotta make a disclaimer on my landing page that says: 'please use a mastercard when purchasing this product..so I can get paid for my efforts.' lol Somehow I missed that when reading CB's rules...What a joke :-(
yup, that is absolutely ridiculous, i was all excited i made my first sale and that i was going to get a check in the mail....i bet clickbank makes alot of money off that rule...cuz i bet alot of people never reach that
I send my first check on 10 december to my bank. They confirmed that they received the check and dealing with it and that was on 20 december. But my check is still not cleared.
Unless you are making a lot of sales on Clickbank it will take forever to actually get the money out of them. Even when they do send a cheque they keep some back for refunds and then send a cheque which needs special authorisation. I am so glad I haven't spent a lot on Adwords to earn the money otherwise the cashflow would be crippling. If it bounces I will be sending a large can of whoopass their way!
I think its a good idea for them to wait until 5 sales. Saves people buying products just to save some cash. There is a good reason why they hold some of the money too... Clickbank rocks, its usually the people that arnt making money from CB that complain about them... Unless their CC processor is down, then everyone should complain
Well said! They also do this mostly to protect themselves from fraud/refunds/mass targeting an account... There was a post earlier about a way to fraud CB (i think it was called CB has a FAIL - lol) that elaborates on this. yes, CB does probably make/hold quite a bit of money that is 'float', however if an affiliate does not read the TOS before diving in head first and spending countless hours/efforts only to discover this portion of CB at a later more inconvenient time - it rather suits you and next time you'll be more cautious to understand a system before thinking you'll monetize overnight, make 1 sale on 1 card and cashout... It really is NOT that hard to make the 5 separate sales, and if IT IS... perhaps calling yourself an internet marketer is far fetched and should not be your first choice of careers. NC.
i was reading up on them from posts a year back and supposedly they also have tracking issues where a lot of the sales you get aren't credited to you. I don't know if this is still a problem today but a year ago it was enough to keep a lot of people away.
why dont more people feedback to clickbank and request to be paid by paypal which is more better and faster?
OMG i would love this. The biggest problem i have with them still is NOT CB *per se*, but the fact that my bank needs 5 WEEKS to post their checks!!!
Yes it is a good feedback. We should all make some sort of suggestion regarding the alternatives of the payment....something like wire transfer and paypal methods. There is a high risk of the check getting misplaced or stolen or lost during postage.
