I'm not too big on religion but as long as they don't get all up in my face about it, I don't mind what other people do with their lives.
Spoiled pups, by linking to bible.org you have not proved anything, just that the people who believe in religion can also create web pages and put their ideas onto a computer. Nothing to do with religion is FACT. Fact is 100 percent proven. Religion cannot be proven, no matter how much you want to believe it can be, it cannot be. Not all atheists believe in string theory, so don't think this. Also you pose the question "who created the dimension?". Well if god created it, then who created god? Who created the thing that created god etc.. etc.. None of your arguments are fact. Just because you've spent more time on earth than me proves nothing because I could spend a billion years on earth and still not know how it came to be. Also, you say that your prayers have been answered and it could have been nothing else but an answer from god...were you praying for the button on the toilet to flush your poo away? I have only one stance on religion, to each his own. Respect the rights of others to be different and respect others' religions or lack of religion.

OK so if it's in ones religion to discriminate against, bash and kill homosexuals then that's fine isn't it? Religion is fucking stupid and it's absoloutly ridiculous that exceptions can be made in a high court to favor religion. Just like when it was in some group of people's religion to use an illegal drug to pray to their god, the highest court of America ruled in their favor...absoloute insanity...

Religion is fundamentally about laying down rules and persecuting those who disobey them. tolerance and respect aren't words that religion knows, And as such their "belief" deserves as little respect as they show for everyone who disagrees with their imaginary sky daddy or the rules they have implemented in his name. Even today we have presidential candidates saying homosexuality is wrong and the pope telling AIDS ravaged countries that condoms are not allowed, and in some cases even saying that condoms actually spread the virus. These people don't deserve respect, They deserve absolute disdain and ridicule.

So because you lack the intellect to understand how clouds and trees are formed we have to accept your invisible man done it idea? It's funny, Gods were invented for the very purpose of explaining things that primitive man didn't understand, Like the sunrise, The seasons, the growing of crops. It's 2008 and we still have some people relying on a god as an explanation for flowers and clouds. I guess theism is a disease that will always target that type of person.
Pardon me mr evolution, your evolutionist theory only works, and i use that term loosely, with the evolutionary progress from one thing to another, it does not touch creation. If i lack the intellect to understand it so do thousands of other scientist that wont touch it because they cant. There are a few weak theories, that require a greater faith and trust than believing in God. Here are your choices, Option A. Life came from nothing - Sounds like a leap of faith to me Option B Life came from a Creator - considering everything else we can see and touch was created, i don't see why this is a far fetched assumption. But to clarify, those of us that do believe in God, do so for a reason, we have witnessed his spirit, his work,therefore proof enough for me. I personally know God exist, for the work he has done in my own life.

Well said... this is why we have bloody war. Im not joking... you know its true. Dont you say in another breath that religion is responsible for all the war and bloodshed?? There was a time when God used war and death to show his wrath and to do his will, however those times are in the old testament. The bible i read teaches of a law, that tells us to love our neighbor, it teaches us to turn the other cheek, People or groups that claim to be going to was for God, are lier's, and are not Christians. The bible tells us not to kill, not to do drugs, anyone that practices those things, does so against gods will. I speak as a Christian. Other religions may differ.
