hey i visit my site atleast 10 times a day ! that becomes 10 impressions and i get around 100 visitors a day !!!... total around 200 impressions !! but are those 10 impressions taken as "making fake page impressions by google" ??... plz reply !!... is it risky to visit ur own site ?
as long as your not clicking on your own ads... i doubt it im dont use adsense though, so you might need second opinions
I would be a little strange wouldnt it. 'You are not allowed to visit your own website as this would result in fake impressions. !!!' Na, your allowed to visit as much as you like. While I was playing around with adsense on my website I got 150 impressions by myself because I kept refreshing to look at the result.
You're not allowed to keep visiting or refreshing your pages to increase your impressions because there are pay-per-impression google ads. However Google is very elastic on that matter. Just keep it at the absolute necessary. " ...Any method that artificially generates clicks or impressions on your Google ads is strictly prohibited. These prohibited methods include but are not limited to repeated manual clicks or impressions, using robots, automated click and impression generating tools, ..." from https://www.google.com/adsense/supp...ceid=asos&subid=ww-ww-et-hcfooter&medium=link
yup thats not a problem at all u wont have any problem wit ur own impression but yes if u click ads then u may land in trouble
lets look at it this way. adsense pays us per click based on what advertisers pay adwords for getting clicks on their sites. how adwords charge the advertisers? it is based on their impression and CTR. the higher the CTR is, lower the adwords advertisers pay per click. so visiting your own site 10 times a day would than artificially inflate the page impression thereby driving up the PPC for the adwords advertisers. therefore artificialy inflating the page impression is not allowed. if you are visiting your site 10 times or more a day, that will not put any impact on your adsense account for a short period of time, but if you do that as a regular basis, then that could trigger an alarm. if the site is going through an update and you need to visit the site to monitor the change, then it would be fine for a brief period of time, but i would be safer than sorry in the long run.
Just keep it to a reasonable level and you should be OK... although it's difficult to know how Google sets trigger thresholds
You should be fine with that visits, don't worry. As long as you don't click your own ads and you don't refresh the page every minute you're ok.
when i want to change something at my page, sometimes i refresh same page more than 10 times.so i guess its ok
I sometimes have to refresh a lot of times. When I was working on my blog I was building it by looking in FireFox. After that I checked with IE and it was all messed up. So I had to keep refreshing and changing the code and keep looking in both internet browsers. I can't help it! lol
It is not a problem. I've been with Adsense for years and have multiple windows open on my forum all the time, pretty much 24/7. All it is going to do is deflate your CTR which may effect your earnings negatively in some way... but its probably a rounding error. If you click on your ads though, then you will be banned, so make sure you don't do that.
