    I do believe we are not the only ones in the universe. There has to be other life outside our galaxy or even outside Earth.

    It would only have to be identical conditions for the evolution to turn out the same. Look at fish vs humans, one can only breath underwater and the other can only breath above it. Isn't it likely that another species could evolve without needing oxygen at all? I think so.

    But what will be the difference to the world if they really exist?
    I don't think they can make any contribution,so its a useless topic to debate.
    NASA etc. trying to find the whole universe for aliens,but do we really our own earth very well?
